NASCAR iRacing Series

Friday Open – NiS – Indy
- David – P12
- Brad- P Wrecked Out Lap 2. Had the oddest wreck coming off of T2. I had a run on the car ahead and I pulled to drivers left coming off the corner and the car just broke loose and spun into the outside wall. I really can’t explain it.
- Kyle – P15 track temp was hot and so was my temper. Couldn’t keep the backend of the car in the right direction off of 4 and couldn’t get slowed down enough for turn 3. Was able to avoid the mess of all the wrecks. Wanted to bring home a win at my home track. Maybe next year?
Sunday Open- NiS – Indy
- David – P3, flipped track position with pit strat
- Kyle – P11 started P10. Car felt great even on a long run. Restarts were wild. Got collected in a restart wreck that required about 30 seconds of repairs and then I had to march back to the front. To bring it home P11.
Wednesday Open -NiS – Iowa
- Kyle – P4 Started P6 car was great fell back to 12th when I half spun but worked back up to the front during a 67 lap run. Restarted P2 with 3 to go. Would of been a P2 finish but I over drove turn 3 on the last lap and lost 2 spots.
- Chris – P 6. Cautions came out hot and heavy. Used ChatGPT to crew chief me. Took 2 tires with 3 to go starting P10. There was a wreck every GWC, ended under yellow P6. Should be 4th but cars that wrecked got their spot back. Good run for the championship. Big thanks to our sponsors: Waldron’s Furniture, iRacers Lounge, Premier Setups, and Sim Wraps — keeping us fast, smart, and looking sharp all season long.”
- David – p22, got straight dumped, guy claims there was a gap, was no gap he just hit my rear bumper
- Brad- P24 after starting p5. I tried to pace myself early on and save tires. I was running in the top 10 till getting off on the pit cycle. I was working my way back toward the front when a car head spun to the inside in T3. I went to pass him high and he hit a car on his inside and came back up into the racing line. Almost 9 minutes of damage. Sat and got all repaired just to save SR. The iRating slide continues….2k bound it seems.
Thursday Open- NiS – Iowa
- Mike- P9 two or three cars wrecked on the pace lap from a guy scrubbing his tires and spinning out and wiping out the outside Lane. Had a pretty good run with green flag stops, was caught a lap down after that but the caution came out, took the wave around and got another quick caution got dumped running in the top eight near the end but was able to recover back due to several late cautions to finish P9.
Official Series
Gen 4
- Ellis – P20- at Talladega got near the front, but didn’t have good moves and ended up getting involved in other people’s big racks and finished P 20
- Top split Sunday night had a great run going and got in a wreck two minutes damage. The engine wouldn’t go over 140 miles an hour when I fix the two minutes it was perfectly fine. It was really weird but recovered from that was able to lead laps, including right near the end. I was dumped while leading finished P 22.
- Had a great race go on top split was second coming to the white I went to go up and around the leader and he went to block and took us both out. Finished P 16.
- Finish P 14 out a P 16 got involved in it. Another person‘s rack couldn’t miss it. Eight minutes damage had to limp at home.
A Open
- Brad W – P18 (Iowa) Started p6 and was doing ok till getting loose off of T4. Popped teh wall and had 2 minutes of damage. Was able to get all but 30 seconds fixed. The race came down to GWC and I was in a good spot to salvage a p10-12 spot. Only to get collected in a wreck. I’m really struggling to find enjoyment right now.
B Open
- Kyle – P13 Some of the most fun you can have in a car. The car was a blast to drive especially when the whole race goes green and you get to do green flag pit stops. Started P14 and just ran all 60 laps as consistently as possible. This car really should get its own half length official races. And no I didn’t Austin Hill anyone.
Ring Meister
- Mike – qualified 16 out of 27GT3Z the Nunberg ring. Got wrecked out pretty early.
- Qualified before the x-ray and ended up on pole position starting first out of 30 but but out while leading about a quarter way into the lap held my break almost every single car got around me in the last guy to come by clips me and gives me heavy damage
- Started second, but wrecked out in one of the first corners by hitting the turtles and put it in the wall
- Try again, sharded second made it about a quarter lap before I went off track and killed the car
GT4
- William – P13 –Will Weaver convinced me to run GT4 at Silverstone. Was a disaster. Haven’t run GT4 in about a year, qualified slow and forgot to change to race setup. Had to pit 4 laps in.
FIA F4 Americas
- Mike – P Laguna Seca started 19th finish P 17 spun off once
League / Hosted Races
Grass Roots Racing
GTP/GT3 League – Silverstone Sprint Race
- William W – P7. Botched quali so had a tough road ahead of me. On lap 2 in turn 3 there was a huge stack up and I got damage from hitting the car in front. Was running 6th at the time, but that really hurt on the straights. Let brad by for 6th because he was faster and pit as soon as I could to get the damage fixed. Came out about 6 seconds behind brad after it cycled and ran him down the last 2 laps, but couldn’t get the pass done. Don’t hate the track, but not my favorite.
- Brad W – P6 Did not have a great qualifying session so started mid teens. Was able to gain a bunch of spots on the start. Had a great battle with William early on that we would resume as the race was ending. I was very excited to see this track on the schedule for IMSA this season but it was changed to the Bend after the update. Felt more like a GT3 race than multiclass racing. I can’t believe I’m going to say it but we need some GTP drivers.
KCE Racing League
- Donnie S – Sunday Night Truck Series – Iowa – Started P13, Finished P13. I had a good strategy going until I self spun off of four during final stops putting me a lap down. Turn four was especially difficult throughout the race.
- Tuesday Night Gen4 – Las Vegas – Started in the rear, Finished P8. Tire wear was brutal throughout the race prompting several different strategies.
Hosted-
- Ellis – Indy car at Charlotte oval with damage off got through the race with a couple spectacular wrecks. A lot of fun.
