They started the race on wets and no fuel, set the car to run as low as it could on those tyres, then they did a single lap, put slicks on and filled the tank and it lowered the car further than the tech would normally allow giving them an advantage or a lower ride height.

Friday Open – NiS – Michigan

  • Tony -P3 gawh Damn it. Ran different set and ran much better. Stayed in the top 10 majority of the race avoiding everything under the sun.  Took 2 came out 4th with 10 to go. Grabbed the lead lap and half later. Lost the lead til slipped out of 2 with 5 to go. Was right on his bumper waiting for the right moment to make a move but caution came out with 3 to go. Had 2 gwcs where restarting 2nd and the leader was playing the try to guess what speed im going before the restart zone. Oh well Im just never gonna win a race again. Bright side ir above 2200 for first time in a long time and sr is 0.04 from becoming a pro hahaha
  • Brad- P4 A tale of two races. Started p9 and would stay around the 14-15 for the first half of the race. The race was slowed seven times for yellows and most of those were from aggressive driving. About midway I got into the wall coming off T2 trying to avoid an accident and ended up with wheel damage. Was able to fix it but went to the rear. Over the remainder of the race I was able to work my way back through yellows and pit strategy. Was sitting P8 on final restart and was able to avoid an accident on the last lap, split two guys and race back to P4. A welcome finish after the last few weeks.
  • Kyle – P14 started P18 and just fought the tire wear.

Sunday Open- NiS – Michigan

  • David – P wrecked, got straight dumped, red card it is
  • Tony – P safe from seeing the dumb stupid ugly big hat in victory lane had a day at real MIS even got to try a motion rig from the Ford Display. 
  • Greg -P7
  • Kyle – P13 Started P8 and just couldn’t find a good pace. Fell back to 19th and just held on as the tires were fading away. After a few cautions and a strategy to run a set of tires longer then most I pitted with 14 to go under caution and used the new tires to my advantage. Last lap picked of 5 cars to finish P13.

Sunday Fixed- NiS – Michigan

  • Mike- Phad a great run all night, gwc, p5 digging on the bottom, i get loose and lose it – wrecked finish p14.

Wednesday Open -NiS – Daytona Road

  • David – P ya screw this.  Not driving this car on this track again
  • Brad- P33 Started P16 and only made it 2 laps. Had a spinner in the trioval not hold his brakes and came back up into the track. Myself and the car behind me went high but could not avoid it. Too much damage, we’re done.

Thursday Open- NiS – Daytona Road

  • Mike- P14- started 15th got as high as seventh got cream from a guy from behind totally wiped out continued on ended up getting high centered on a turtle and had to toe came out like 20 second but after stops and pit cycling I moved up to 14th.

Grass Roots Racing 

MX5 League

  • William W- P20somthing. Killed myself on lap 2 in the rain. 

GTP/GT3 League

  • William W –  P5. VIR. Started 3rd. Spun the car on my own in turn 1. Got on the gas too hard and didn’t respect the new tire model. Did this in my first 3 races with the new tire. Had to fight all the way back up through the field of gt3 about 25 cars. Made it back up to 5th but was too far behind any more positions having to make that many passes. 

Hosted- 

  • Ellis – new GEN four at new Vegas wrecked out super fun
    • 13 week GT three challenge fixed at spa. Spun on turn one fell to dead last 30th then drove my way up to finish P 11.
    • Prototypes at Daytona qualified fifth out of 24
    • Gen 4 at Michigan started 20th finish 11th even after getting spot
    • Then Gen 4 at Daytona got wrecked out
    • Then street stocks at South Boston 14th out of 17th finished P7

Friday Open – NiS – Nashville

  • Tony -P4 decided to Mike Ellis it and show up with no practice all week with a few minutes to spare. It showed with a p22 qual. Raced smart avoiding the wrecks in 1st half. Last caution was with 78 laps to go and about 2/3rds the way realize it was probably staying green so started saving fuel. A few of the leaders had to pit with 3 to go and gained a few spots. Bonus was the asshole that wrecked me last weeks coke 600 was leading and ran out of gas with 2 to go. (Evil laugh) 
  • Brad- P27 Another disaster of a race. Started p7 but was caught up in another accident not of my making. Worked to get damage fixed only to get collected again. This time the damage was too much, we’re done.
  • John – P22.  Got wrecked. Was running in the top 10 when a guy tried to pass under me in turn 1. He did not have enough room to make the pass, so instead of braking he decided to just take me out. Impatience of drivers like that guy is what is killing NIS. Oh well, I have a good memory. Car was junk after that. By the time repairs were done I was 13 laps down.

Sunday Open- NiS – Nashville

  • David – P2,  started of stretching fuel to make a 1 stop race, but caution comes out, so everyone gets back even i’m around 13th.  Hanging around that spot until late race caution 20 laps to go, take 2, p6.  I survive a lot of carnage at the front, and the leader on the last restart had to serve a penalty for bad restart.  If i’d known might have gotten in a better position.  But was having a tracking issue with pimax since the last patch, and the horison was bouncing of line and back, making it really hard to precisely drive the outside line.  So on the last lap i coudln’t really fight.
  • Tony – P7 had a great long run car again but late race restart wasn’t good for me 
  • Greg -P7

Sunday Fixed- NiS – Nashville

  • Mike- P started 28th drove up to eighth by lap 35 but then got destroyed by some loser couldn’t miss it. Seven minutes damage rode around for quite a while trying to stay on the lead lap and get it fixed, but got destroyed again and some other incident too much damage were done.

Wednesday Open -NiS – Michigan

  • David – P14, caught in an early wreck from a 4 wide in front of me.  5 minutes of damage, but enough cautions got it all fixed, then flipped to the front on tire strategy.  Was terrible on restarts though and fell to 14th.
  • Tony – P17 ever get excited for something and than it ended up being one of the worse experiences you ever had? Welp that was me whole race and I wasnt even wrecked. Either I wasn’t driving the set right or it was just a miss for me. I still love my track in the Irish Hills. Il be hanging out in my usual spot T1 with my camera glued to my face
  • Brad- P10 Started p8 and was keeping up with the top group. After a restart I was taken 4 wide off turn 2 and I bobbled and with no room for error, I bounced off the car inside, spun and collected teammate David. From then on it was a fight to get damage fixed. Made the mistake of pitting early before pits were open figuring I would get the EOLL penalty. I did this in order to get two trips down pit road. Coming down the second time I was flagged for passing under yellow. Ended up with a 11 second hold and lost a lap. Managed to get the lap back and repairs made to fight back to the front. Very happy with the finish after the challenging race that it was.

Thursday Open- NiS – Michigan

  • Mike- P riding around 20th at lap nine when they wreck up ahead of me they’re reckon down low and up high. I get through the middle but ran over from the guy behind me. He right rears me hard into the wall blows the engine.
  • David – P Wrecked, don’t like this style of track

Official Series

Draft Master

  • Kyle -Top Split Daytona B Car P1 by half a car. Started P5 and just shuffled back to P10 until the big one on lap 8 happened going into 3 and it was a sketchy moment. Locked bumpers with P4 and worked with him to make up a 2 second gap to the top 3. We run them down and coming to the white P1 makes a bad block to the high lane and gets sent to the infield collecting 2 more cars and I slide up to P2. stayed on the leaders bumper until P3 was knocking on my bumper and we went high going into turn 3 where I was able to squeak out a win. 2nd oval win this week. Feeling pretty good with 2 wins in the bag this week and this race having a 0 ”x” each. I have now set my Highest iRating of 2823 since joining in April 2020.

A Open

  • Brad W – P14 and p15 (Michigan) Missed the gearing on the first A open. Got collected in a wreck fought back to p14. Second race had the gear in the set much better but was collected in another 3 wide wreck. Damaged and struggled for pace after getting most of it fixed.

GT Sprint Simucube Series

  • Brad – P18 (Monza-Rain) I like this track but it does not like me. I avoided much of the lap 1 and 2 carnage and made my way up to p10 only to get collected in a stack up that caused quite a bit of nose damage. Kept racing to try and avoid the SR loss.

Indycar iRacing Series

  • Kyle P- P1 at Auto Club. Started P13 and just picked off cars 1 by 1 and battled for the lead. Led 6 laps but unfortunately I got this win the way I didn’t want to get it. 3 to go we are about to hit turn 1 and I go to squeeze the gap between P1 and P2 for a 3 wide run when P2 drops down to block and I bump P1 and that takes out P1 and P2 and hands me the win under caution.

League / Hosted Races

Majors Series – leman 2.4

  • David – P9, on the last lap running p7, leap frogged tom and was holding him off.  On last lap at the end of the mulson straight we caught a lmp2 and he was far enough ahead he didn’t have to yield to us.  Probably could have if he was paying attention to a 4 car fight and he wasn’t in one, but i was unable to get a good exit and tom got beside going into Indy, then i just missed a turn and go off the track and fall to 9th.
  • Tom D – P6

Hosted- 

  • Ellis – Indy car series fixed started P1 out of 14 finished P6.
    • Rein Meister at RuddsCogan in the GT three. Wreck out.
    • IndyCar at Daytona in hosted started 45 out of 60
    • Indy car fixed at Detroit qualified 11 out of 15. P8 no incident. Dean .12 got me to 3.5. This concludes my fourth mpr race at level B and so when week 13 comes, I will be promoted to class a formula.
    • Posted 87’s at Talladega started 40th at a 45. Wrecked out twice.
    • Then trucks at Talladega hosted start a 32nd out of 45
    • The fat attack GT3 challenge fish at the ring with the stadium qualified six out of 18. Pitch black can’t see it all no driving line. I wrecked out on lap one about halfway through the lap seven minutes damage I parked it.

Friday Open – NiS – Charlotte

  • David – P wrecked out late
  • Brad- P11 after starting p8. Finally finished this race. The previous attempts for 2025 and 2024 ended in DNFs. The first third of the race was tame but ended up with some damage mid race, got that fixed but lost a lap due to a yellow during green flag stops. The field could not get gathered up in time so none of the lapped down cars could get the wave around. Finally got back on the lead lap only to get damaged and spend about 80 laps driving off pace. Damage was finally fixed and had made it back up to p8 for last restart and forgot to reverse the adjustments I made for the damaged car. Last run the car was wrecking loose and I dropped a few spots. Overall after my past history, I was happy with p11.
  • Kyle – P11 had a yo yo of a race. But had one of the strongest cars of the race. Started 16 and just bounced back and forth from top 5- top 15. Lap 87 caution and its tim to take my pee break. Come out 25th and just rocket towards the front. Battled the leader for 4 laps and even sniffed the lead for a half of a lap. Just couldn’t keep from burning up my tires and the tires just died a long painful death and I just fell back to P11.

Sunday Open- NiS – Charlotte

  • David – Pwrecked early by a typical asshole
  • Tony – P10 tale of 2 races. 1st half was top 5 had a fast car. Got lead 176 laps in lead 12 laps than a fuck stick lap car decided to yeet it in the corner was me up than got pissed and just turned me. I hope you get a burning std. Was still on lead lap minding my own business and GF stops and hit the damn shitty bumps on pit exit. I hope Marcus Smith gets the same STDs. Welp spent rest of the race 2 laps down. Least i finished the race 

Sunday Fixed- NiS – Charlotte

  • Mike- P start a 25th got to 16 by lap four. Drove it up to seventh by lap 40 but a guy tried to arc into the corner and push me into the wall and got me involved in the first caution. During that caution, I get dumped from the server disconnected. My Cox Internet went down for almost 3 or four minutes before I was able to reconnect even my phone wasn’t working. Got back on track six laps down.  There’s another caution I get my repairs. I’m coming around to catch up to the field. My screen freezes a full 3 to 4 seconds as it comes back to life. I’m in the wall hard. I’m knocked the right front off the car is completely destroyed. I have a red packet loss symbol with warnings from the crew chief about my connection. I put it on pit too much damage we’re done

Wednesday Open -NiS – Nashville

  • David – P14, had to come back from 4 minutes damage, was up to 11th and the car infront of me got spun, had to check up and lost a few spots
  • Brad- P32 – Started p17 after a spin during qualifying. I never was able to make any progress to the front but did manage to avoid some early wrecks. Restarted in top 10 about mid race but a check up on the restart gave me nose damage but no incident points. The car was a slug till getting in to fix the 40 seconds of damage. The car felt great on the restart and was starting to make way back towards the front only to get collected in a front stretch spinner that I could not avoid. The sets from Premier are great this week, just have not been able to avoid the bad luck.

Thursday Open- NiS – Nashville

  • Mike- P3- ran somewhere between fifth and 10th most of the race kept it out of trouble and finished a very respectable P3. David had a great call with a late pitstop to take two tires. However, the person who didn’t pit actually won the race.
  • David – P10,  got spun in some tight racing, caution didn’t come out for a few laps but did, was able to get back to field, 10 was about how fast i was

Official Series

A Open

  • Brad W – P12 (Nashville) Started 11th and drove up to the front. We had an early yellow so only took two tires to get the lead. I was fine out front for the first 20 laps but the tire call did not play out. I tried to make it on fuel but could not, so had to pit and could never recover the spots.

League / Hosted Races

Hosted- 

  • Ellis – the ring Meister in the Ferrari started third out of 22 had a good battle for P2, but ended up finishing P3
  • Ran another top split starting 13th out of 26 someone tries to pass me at the top of the hill there’s not enough room I get wrecked out
  • Same race next night starting fifth out of 25. Had a great battle for fifth. The guy thought I did it wrong. It was giving me a lot of verbal harassment throughout the race, but I still finished ahead of him P5.
  • Next evening ran another started fourth out of 23rd. Got as high as second but finished P3 great podium very proud.
  • Started second out of 22nd wrecked out
  • Pro two off-road racing series fixed at wild West motorsports Park started P4 out of four and finished P3
  • Then for SR only ran the IRX Volkswagen beetle light series. At Atlanta motor Speedway rally Cross long track.  Currently a 2.7 need to climb to 3.0 to be able to race the final series in my series challenge. started seventh out of seven somehow finished P3 no incident. Gained .08 SR
  • Switch to rally Cross series fixed in the Volkswagen beetle. 
  • Then rally Cross series fixed started at seventh finish P2 lost .02 SR with four incidents. 
  • Then another start. Started P6 out of six. finish P6 two incidents gained .04 SR.  It is moving slow.  This race however, did complete MPR four out of four.
  • Moved onto off-road racing series pro two light at Daytona. Start at seven finish six out of seven gain .09 SR now at 2.96.
  • Moving onto IRX Volkswagen beetle light series at Atlanta started fifth finished fourth out of six got two incidents zero safety rating change
  • Volkswagen beetle light IRX rookie series. Start at six out of six finish P4 got ran over twice lost .05 down to 2.91
  • Pro two light off-road rookie racing series at Daytona started six out of six finish P6 gain .07 down at 2.98
  • Volkswagen beetle light IRX rookie at Charlotte. Believe it or not got wrecked out the last place somehow could not finish the race.
  • The next day, try rally at Charlotte again start a dead last they decided to all wreck so I took the lead still trying to not get hit and a lap car somehow takes me out looked intentional to me and I got two incident points, but finish P2
  • Volkswagen beetle light at Atlanta. Started that last finish P2, no incidents and finally gained .48 safety rating to get to 3.42. Ready for season promotion to dirt road class B.
  • So decide to work on my formula license by running formula 1600 rookie series by motion in the FF 1600 started P9 ended up P6 with zero incident gain .09 SR for 2.56 need to get above three
  • Ran the same race again started ninth finish third at two incident points. Game .04 now 2.6.
  • Ran again, same race. Start ninth finish six had two incidents. Jane .03to 2.63.
  • Ran it again started the 11th dead last finished P5 no incidents. Gained .09 up to 2.72.  
  • Dirt car  umP modified series at Knoxville started ninth finished P6 no incident. 
  • Ran same race again. Did OK and qualifying and heat enough to not have to race in the consolation race. Got a P 10 and instantly promoted to class a on dirt oval.
  • Formula 1600 rookie series by CM motion in the FF 1600 started dead last in P 11 and finished P3 nice podium with zero incidents a .1 increase to 2.82
  • Ran same race again gained .1 SR finishing seventh from 11th with zero incident
  • Same race again. Start at tense finish fourth no incidents gained .1 sitting at 2.99.
  • Ran again qualified seventh at a 9/4 with no incident. 8.53 gain bounced me to 3.52 mission accomplished.
  • Indy car fixed at Detroit Grand Prix Belle Isle qualified fifth out of nine. Finished for no incidents .13 increase now at 3.65.
  • Ran the same race again. Started at 11th at 19. Got wrecked out DNF 12 incident.

Wednesday Open -NiS – Charlotte

  • David – P8, had a top 5 car probably especially in 2nd half, on last run let my self get just off line when some guys in front got squirely and popped the wall, killed the long run speed.  
  • Brad- P22 Started P3 and decided to not over drive. I gave up some spots early on but was gaining them back as the race went on. From the very get go guys were driving like it was the last lap. On restart about 70 laps in I hit the bumps coming through turns 3 and 4 and lost the car. Spun back across the track and collected some guys. I managed to get all the damage fixed under the next two yellows and then played some pit strategy to get the tack position back. Unfortunately around lap 125 I had a guy break loose under me coming out of T4 and he came back up and drove me into the wall. I did get the 7 minutes of damage fixed to gain three spots before retiring. Really sad that I tapped out at lap 145 and fell no lower than 22nd place. Will have to try again Friday.

Thursday Open- NiS – Charlotte

  • Mike- P got to the front in the top five got ran over from behind didn’t hit anything. Came back up through the field. Got back to the top five at lap 100. Ran there until getting wrecked w 75 to go dnf and too many incidents dnf, still finished p19
  • David – P4  struggling on long runs late cause of damaged caused twice by a lap car, the 2nd time he pitted with me right behind him with no announcement just stopped on the track.  But a late caution I took 2 tires and held on through 3 gwc
  • Bobby – P1 – Winner, Winner

Official Series

Draft Master

  • Kyle – P6Top Split Started P16 and had to play wreck avoidance and just ride around for the whole race picking off spots from drivers who just ran out of talent. Made a last lap pass out of 4 on the last lap to gain a P6.

A Open

  • Brad W – P12 (Charlotte) after starting p13. Had a very good run going and had stayed in the top 8 all of the race until green flag stops. I came in WAY too hot and had to abort to avoid wrecking. That took me out of the lead group but soldiered on for a 12th place finish.

IMSA

  • Hall – P2, p2 and was gonna be P1 but a tornado or just lightning just north knocked out power
    • P3 at wet spa
  • Brad W – P20 (Road Atlanta) My fourth attempt and another disaster of a race. I started mid pack and was floating around p12-15th. I was about 2 laps from pitting when I got the Packet Loss warning. Yep, I got dropped again! I did re-launch into the race because I was determined to at least finish one race this week. Still can’t figure out what is going on with the connection issues.

Indy 500 

  • David – p13, wrecked at the end.

League / Hosted Races

Grass Roots Racing 

MX5 League

  • William W- P7. Road Atlanta. Good race. Top 3 got away and 4-12 stayed pretty close. 6-12 were 3 wide going onto the back straight 2 deep. Someone touched someone and caused a huge wreck. Finished P7

GTP/GT3 League

  • William W –  P4. Started 6th and had pace for 2nd. Stuck behind 3rd because I thought I was faster but it would have been a lot of work to pass. Half spun myself in turn 5 right before stops and lost back to 5th. Pit to fix some damage I got from bushing the wall. Came out of pit in 5th. Was shortly able to get back up to 3rd, with about 4 laps to go a lapped car got in the way at the top of turn 2. I made a bad dive trying to keep on 2nd’s bumper and ended up forcing myself and the lapped car off track. Fell to 5th and was able to get back to 4th before finish. Good race but really felt like I should have at least had a podium. 
  • Ellis – prototype challenge fixed at r Atlanta full course in the Cadillac qualified 11 out of 16. Got up as high as P6, but went off the track once and fell to finish P 10. I’ll take a top 10.
    • GT three challenge fixed by fan attack at Sebring. Qualified 11th out of 19. Finish P 20.  
    • GTE Sprint series at Watkins Glen. Qualified 14th out of 26. Did pretty good at the beginning holding my own but lap seven got destroyed from behind actually and then he hit me again after he spun me out DNF.
    • Proto GT challenge by thrust master at Watkins Glen. Started fourth ended up finishing P2.
    • IndyCar series oval fixed at Iowa. Finish P6 out of eight. Lost 57 rating.
    • hosted cup cars at Charlotte with 60 cars in the race qualified P 29. Got as high as P2 during green flag cycle pitch stops cycled back out to ninth and then worked my way up to finish P8 super fun.
    • NASCAR IRacing class B series at Richmond raceway. Qualified 14th out of 22. Got as high as P5 but ended up finishing P9 super happy with a top 10. So interesting to get away from the vacuum cleaner, GEN seven garbage and run a real NASCAR. Gain 25 rating.
    • Post to June 5 at Talladega finished P4
    • Then ran stand alone qualifying for the ring Meister by Rick Motech in the Ferrari GT three dead last with a 654 nine
    • Then ran the race started on the pole, fell a second and then a guy trying to get by me for a second. We get coated and ended up wrecking real hard. DNF.
    • Try to run the Nord again the next night. Started fourth out of 23rd survive to finish P8 by letting some people go that were just faster. Happy to get a top 10 and a finish in the green hell
    • Ran the race again Wednesday night started fourth out of 23. The top two tangled and one went off the guy in front of me had to slow. I was able to get the second and then hold him off for the rest of the race by running hard and finishing a very respectable P2.
    • Feeling cocky so try again top split qualified ain’t out of 22. Turned off the driving line and realized how bad I was when I wrecked the car.

  • Chris – P 12. I could not find speed and rode around in the upper 20’s. Late cautions, saving a set of tires, and short run adjustments put me P12 on the finish.

  • Brad- P13 Started 16th and worked my way up to the front. Made a mistake when taken three wide and spun. With this being my only shot for the week after wrecking out on lap 3 Wednesday I over drove the car trying to get back to the front. Lots of sloppy mistakes on my part and this reminded me that even when you get put in a bad spot, just run your race and don’t over do it. Should have been a better finish but it is what it is.

Sunday Open- NiS – Kansas

  • Greg -P5
  • John – P5. Well, 10 cautions was a bit much. I tried my best to stay out of them, but ended up with 10X. Ran around P20 most of the race but thanks to attrition and pit stop adjustments I got faster as the race went on. We had 3 G/W/C’s. In P 14 th first one, P10 the second one, and P8 the third one. Made it up to P5 and to be honest two more laps and I would have won this thing. Kansas is a one of my favorite tracks and I was very happy with my finish.

Sunday Fixed- NiS – Kansas

  • Mike- PP15- started ninth got to the lead by lap 28 ended up leading. The most laps was in control of the race, but got dumped at one point by a guy put me back. I got cleared back up to third for the final restarts, but it didn’t go my way and I got wrecked.

Official Series

FIA F4 Americas 

  • Kyle – P P11. Started P6. Got into early trouble lap 1 had to pit for repairs but kept it on the lead lap

IMSA

  • Hall – P3 at Road ATL, and a lot of poor finishes due to lap 1 heroes or clueless GT3’s.  And according to iRacing its okay to violently slam into the side of a car when its beside you before the corner.
  • Brad W – P no finishes this week. I have tried three races at Road Atlanta and have not finished a single one.
    • First race I wrecked out coming to the pits. Stupid mistake on my part.
    • Second race, got dropped before the start. Reloaded in and left the pits but had no force feedback. Was already laps down so I parked it.
    • Third race got wrecked by an aggressive GT3 driver taking it three wide in turn one 8 minutes into the race. About 5 minutes later get wrecked by a LMP2 driver who had to pass me in the esses. He apologized that he thought he would clear me before the apex…needless to say…he had not. 

Porsche Cup Fixed

  • Westbrook – P17- Top split. GRR group wanted to do an official after some PCUP hosteds. Gustavo Ariell and Olivier Piatek in here so once I saw that the only goal was to survive. 4k SOF. Start was crazy, in any other split 15 cars would have died. Settled in and actually had some pretty good racing with P14 15 16 17 until I locked the brakes going into the bus stop with 2 to go. Almost made it back to the back of that group. Overall pretty happy to just get 2IR out of this. Forgot how much I liked this car. Might drive it more if I can stop worrying it’s going to throw my GT3 off. 

Indy 500 

  • Mike– start at 10th and on lap one I was a bit slow going through the corner so I wouldn’t hit the wall and the guy just ran over me from behind too much damage we’re done. 

League / Hosted Races

Grass Roots Racing 

MX5 League

  • William W- P-Whatever. It rained. I died. 

GTP/GT3 League

  • William W –  P3. Started P6. Someone missed their braking point going into the last corner on T0 and forced me outside. Lost about 5 spots before the finish line on lap one. Unfortunate because I had fantastic pace here, which was a surprise after practice and qualifying. Really feel I could have played with the leaders if I hadn’t had to drive through so much traffic. 
  • Ellis –pro two off-road truck at Firebird fixed. Didn’t go official finish P2.
    • Then motorsport UKFF 1600 trophy by thrust master. at snetterton started at six out of eight and ended up finishing P3 after a very intense battle.
    • Raleigh cross series at Daytona. Started second P4.
    • SK modified at Concorde in the weekly fixed. Qualified ninth out of 14. Finish p five. -9 rating.
    • Then I ran the open version of this series. Fourth out of 11, running a fixed set. Finish P2 by surviving some carnage at the beginning. Game 34 rating. Super fun track car combination highly recommend.
    • NASCAR tour modified series at Langley ran as high as P2 and got hit and put to the back, but ended up finishing P4
    • Then ran the fixed version of the same series qualified fifth out of 12. Swung by myself on lap one and they got involved in other incidents and finished P9.
    • VRS GP Sprint series @ leman. Qualified 17 out of 28. 20 after spinning on my own and fall into dead last and then worked my way back up.
    • Radical SR eight @old Charlotte oval 53 cars qualified 16. Finish P7.
    • Junior open wheel oval challenge at IRP in the Indy pro 2000 pm18- qualified fifth out of 10. Finished P6.
    • Dirt car 360 sprint car series at Eldora
    • Super late model series at North Wilkesboro. Started fifth finished fourth lost 21 rating. 
    • Super late model series fixed at Wilkesboro started fifth out of six got as high as P2 ended up finishing P3 with a loss of 14 rating
    • Dirt car UMP modified series fixed at Lanier national Speedway. Finish P4 out of 11.
    • Dirt car 360 Sprint car series fixed at Eldora qualified eight out of 11 finish P8
    • Dirt car UMP modified series at Lanier. Start at 16th out of 16 finished P7.

NASCAR iRacing Series

Friday Open – NiS – Texas

  • Mike- P5- started in the back and worked my way forward methodically. We had a green flag stop and then the yellow came out. I was lucky dog. Got the pit for tires and come around to restart 10 worked my Way as high as third but ended up finishing P5 great run
  • Justin – P15? Top split 
  • Brad- P13 This was a sloppy race from the get go. I can’t remember the last time I had 14x on an oval outside of a super speedway. Seemed to get collected in everyone else’s junk.
  • John – P8. Really happy with this. I ran the first 105 laps in the back to save tires and avoid carnage. Ran around P20 to P23 most of the race. It worked. Pitted on lap 106 for the last time. We had 3 g/w/c runs. I was worried about the last restart since guys behind had fresher tires. No problem though. I just drove hard and actually pulled away from them because they were two wide fighting it out. Just about back to 2.1k IR.

Sunday Open- NiS – Texas

  • Mike- P15 came from 22nd up to run in the top 10 but eventually got involved in an incident where a guy got loose in front of me and put me in the wall and 3 1/2 minutes of damage so just road it home to run P15
  • Tony – P25 Texas sucks, the drivers suck. I should start a 1000 ways to be wrecked in iRacing. Was caught in with a spinner just out of 4  which sent me into the pits. The finish put me 2 laps down even though I was on the lead lap. 
  • Greg -P5
  • Kyle – P8 started P22 and just ran my race saving tires. Got caught up in an early wreck but wasn’t hurt to bad. Fixed the damage and came out ready to work my way up to the front. Did a full fuel run to take the lead for 9 laps and pitted coming out P13 and just drove my way up to P8.

Sunday Fixed- NiS – Texas

  • Mike- P dnf- I had a good run going got up to around top 10 from the back, but I was on the outside of a three wide and the middle guy couldn’t hold it and came up into me and I got destroyed too much damage we’re done
  • Kyle – P23 started 6th and just kept it up in the top 10 during a long green flag run. Made it 54 laps green ans then I started blinking and then I was booted. Came back in 5 laps down and got a wave around to ride around down 4 laps. Brought home P23. It sucks having a good car and knowing how to drive the track with this car, to have to be laps down and just can’t compete with the lead lap cars.

Wednesday Open -NiS – Kansas

  • Mike- P4- start a 15th worked my way up to run top 10 Ish Kyle and I were as high as first and third I got the second at one point but towards the end I was about 3rd to 5th and I really couldn’t get more than that I’ll take a nice top five P4
  • Kyle – P10 Started P6 and just had a rocket ship the whole race. Kept it clean and coming down towards the end I took the lead for 10 laps and just set sail. Until 2 lappers with fresh tires decided to race in front of me and I tried to work around them and wore out the tires. Fell back after nearly self spinning out of 4. Saved by a caution and walked her home a P10.
  • Brad- P wrecked out on lap 3. Started mid-pack and was making progress toward the front. The leaders wrecked and I slowed down but the person behind me did not. I got hit and turned right into the accident. Had to take  tow and had over 9 minutes of repairs. Why is NiS so much worse than A Open?

Thursday Open- NiS – Kansas

  • Mike- P15- had a good run going, got up to the top five, was running third and fourth and got hit by a guy who lost it and I couldn’t miss it and got sent to the back with damage. Never really could recover from that. There was a guy in here who had beef and he would not stop cursing the entire race like nonstop. It was out of control.

Official Series

Draft Master

  • William- P4- Had 30 mins free before pod so decided to drop in here. Need to farm SR before Indy 500. I know this isn’t the series to do it, but it was fun. Top 8 had a great race until 4 to go when lappers decided to get in the middle of the pack and side draft. P4 still good but was really shaping up to be a good finish.

A Open

  • Brad W – P6 and P8. Ran two races before NiS and both were good races with a lot of hard but clean racing at the front. In race two I took the lead with about 12 laps to go and was pulling away from the pack. Only to have a yellow come out with 7 to go. I pitted along with the rest of the lead group but 4 stayed out on 30+ lap tires. The restart was a mess and we all got bottled up behind the old tire cars. Had to back out to avoid getting wrecked but could only get back to 8th.
  • Kyle P – P3  started P11. Used this race to get a feel for the setup and how to run the race to get a good result. Learned early to save tires and just trust that they would be better on the long run.

C Open

  • Kyle P -P16 started P22 coming to the green flag and P24 decided to jump the race start trying to squeeze between me and the wall at the line and then blamed me because I didn’t leave him a lane and brought out the caution right away. So I ended up having to fix damage and went 6 laps down. Gained one lap back on a wave around.

GT /IMSA  Conspit Endurance Series

  • William W – Creventic Endurnace 12 Hour Spa P21– Running 5th going into the bus stop at hour 11:15 when leader came up behind us and just couldn’t want until after the bus stop to make a pass, tried to send it 3 wide with me and a GT4 but there wasn’t room and he sent me flying over the curbs and flying into the pit wall, 8 min repairs.

Indycar iRacing Series

  • Tom D – P11 was my best.  Love the combo of Barber and the IndyCar.  I just need to be faster.  Indy road course next week

League / Hosted Races

Grass Roots Racing 

MX5 League

  • William W- P6. Indianapolis Road. Started 7th finished 6th. First laps in the car at this track were during qualifying. Not much else to say other than this car was a blast at this track. 

GTP/GT3 League

  • William W –  Indianapolis endurance round. P3. Started 8th. I know people are generally meh with regards to this track but I really like it. Was struggling much more than I remember or thought i would in practice and quali. Was able to avoid an unfortunate 2 car wreck and move my way up through the field. Got much better throughout the race. Unfortunate incident in the middle of the race where the car ahead of me in p5 tapped p4 in the rear and spun. No where to go and while I got no damage was taken off the track and lost 2 spots. Still don’t think I had anything for P2 but would never know after that point. Great race either way. 

Majors Series – Indy 500

  • Tom D – P9 – Top split International – Started 31st, took my time to get to the front and save fuel.  Was able to jump some people at the end to get a couple spots.          P27 – Top split European – Started 22nd.  Was able to get to the front than I had a major brain fart on green flag stops.  Fell a few laps down.        P9 – 2nd split American – Dang, what I would give for about a half a gallon of fuel.  After last caution I tried my best to save as much fuel as I could.   Just fell 2 laps short and because of the slowing down so much I fell out of the lead.   In the course of 18 hours I was able to run 592 out of 600 laps at Indy.  Looking forward to the next Majors race, Le Mans 2.4 hour on June 1st to warm up for the Majors 24 hours of Le Mans on June 21st

Hosted- 

  • Ellis –old Indy car at Pocono the leader clip the apron and turn one lap one the entire field piled up yet they didn’t throw a caution so I quit. It was stupid running apart three seconds from each other for another 20 minutes.
    • Volkswagen beetle light at Phoenix rally Cross p5
    • Then Indi at Indie wrecked out lap one turn one
    • Then open wheel battle, Formula One versus Indy car at Bathurst random Mercedes W 12
    • M2 at oulton park. P6
    • Then f4 at oran park winner winner, chicken dinner but there were only three people in the event so it didn’t quite count
    • Tried it again spun twice, but still finish P3 out of the field of six so got my podium
    • The Z max tour cars late model stock at North Wilkesboro. Qualified six out of 15 and finished P4.  Really worried about my eye rating but actually gained +21.

5 Changes iRacing Needs To Make

  1. Pit stops in races under 60 minutes.
  2. Pace lap or staging. Very inconsistent with placement on grid for rolling start.
  3. The rain – it’s over done. Reserve it for very special events and should be an anomaly.
  4. Debris – in practice it makes it very difficult to get clean laps.
  5. Rain spray – not realistic to have this much spray when you are driving with slicks.

Friday Open – NiS – Talladega

  • Mike- P16- got a great race for me. I was racing off a pit road and nosed it into the front wall for 30 second damage later in the race with about 50 to go I decided to fix that gave up my track position and then after that and kept getting shuffled and what not not a good event for me p16
  • Tony -P10 had a ok race. Was wrecked twice through out. Final restart i went from 26 to 10th on the white. It was like the seas parted for me. Wish i was up front could’ve pushed John to his first dub instead of his 2nd
  • Chris – P seven minutes damage we got it all fixed. 
  • Brad- P8 Typical Tally race. Had to avoid some wrecks, get some damage fixed but did come home with a top 10. Glad it’s over.
  • John – P2. Almost the perfect race. I did everything right but came up a little short. Pit strategy was good, avoiding wrecks was good, drafting was good,  and setup was fast. Thanks Premiere. Just had no way to get around the leader at the end. I pushed him to the win and that got me ahead of the outside line. I’ll take a P2 anytime, although a win would be better. I’ll get someday. And I’m back to the 2K IR club.

Saturday Fixed- NiS – Talladega

  • John K – P10. First fixed NiS race in a long time. Qualified P3. After a while I was in the second pack. We could never gain ground because we had a bonehead who was 6 laps down in our pack who kept going 3 wide and laughing about it. But the race was fun otherwise. Just wish there had been a late race caution so I could get back in the mix and have a shot.

Sunday Open- NiS – Talladega

  • Mike- P6 got the lead pretty early on led some laps but fell back to say fuel ran top five clean and green and on the green flag stop. I was a little squirrel coming off Pitt Road lost a little bit of track positioned back to seventh and then a caution.  From there stayed out and manage through several cautions could never get the track position. I needed to make a run for the wind, but just happy to get a decent finish.
  • David – P11, leading, an accidental bad bump from a good pusher got me loose.  But didn’t crash.
  • Tony – P14 had a good feeling about today. Tied for the pole as a guy same time as me got it. But it was ok by lap 3 i took the lead and lead all the way to the green flag stop which played out great. Strategy wise i let a car in front of me so he could lead and I controlled the pace. Whole race never left top 3 til the end. Was making moves took the lead again on the white and hooked by a piece of shit that went below the yellow in T4. I had this race but nope. I hope that guy gets a flaming case of a harsh STD.

I took the white flag in 5th, second car on the bottom row, and pushed like I’ve never pushed before. The top row wrecked, and it came down to me and “him.” Coming off Turn 4, I went right, caught the side draft, made the pass, and took the checkers!

Special thanks to Justin for weeks of coaching, Mike for guiding me through the finish, and Bobby for an incredible job relaying info and spotting.

After 3 ½ years….Pop that champagne!!!

Sunday Fixed- NiS – Talladega

  • Mike- P DNF got to the front pretty early had a bunch of laps ended up hitting under green on the final cycle lost the lead four was desperate to catch the next group that went by me. I was on the bottom they actually went below the yellow to pass me as the third car came by. He sideswiped me. I went up and back down into him and we both got destroyed.

Wednesday Open -NiS – Texas

  • Mike- P started in the back, worked my way up to well after halfway to be running P6 when I got dropped from the server by discord never disconnected nor my stream. 
  • David – Pwrecked, was doing well, then just self wrecked into wall and broke it
  • Tony – P dnf. Was wrecked from a car bouncing of the wall and tagging me into the wall on the way back up the track 
  • Chris – P 32.  DNF
  • Brad- P17 Rough race for me. Spun a fellow driver about halfway through the race. I can’t stand it when I get into someone, again sorry to Mitchell Howell. Just not how I race. Was able to get repairs from that only to get collected in a wreck after the restart coming through the tri-oval. From then on it was try to get repairs made and salvage as best a finish as possible. Looking for a better run Friday.

Thursday Open- NiS – Texas

  • Mike- P3 started in the back work my way forward got to the top five stayed there got as high as P2 never let a lap, but ended up finishing p3
  • David – Pwrecked on on lap 1 by arca braking.  Starting to feel like retiring from NiS again.

Official Series

A Open

  • Brad W – P13 (Texas) Car had good speed but I over drove it each run and cooked the tires. Tried to take it easy on the last run but got caught up in racing too hard too soon. 
  • John K. – P23. Got into other people’s wrecks. Just a typical Talladega. I was happy to only be one lap down all things considered. Still a good time – I love this track!!!

B Open

  • John –  P11. This race was a great example of why you should never quit. Got in other people’s wreck on around lap 40. It shot me through the pits and I got a black flag for it (fix this IRacing). 8 minutes of damage. Took several pit stops to get it fixed. Ran around all alone for 30 laps and got lapped again to go 2 laps down. Fast forward to the end: we had three G/W/C runs. I got my 2 laps back thanks to lucky dog. I was at end of line on final restart, so I laid back in case another big one happened. It did. Went from P23 to P11 as 12 cars wrecked out on final lap. Lesson: never assume you are done for the day. I stayed in and picked up some IR.

IMSA

  • Hall – P3 at Monza in the Rain.  It started wet and dried up, once it dried up I couldn’t stay close to the top 2.
  • Brad W – P16 High split at probably my worst track. I’ve said it before, I just don’t run well here. There are too many fast corners that I just can’t keep speed in the car. I finished where I deserved to finish. 
  • William W- P11- Watkins – Started P20 or so. I’m very slow at Watkins, and was in another high split. Messiest race that I’ve been in in a while. GT3 leader was brake checking on the pace lap causing chaos. Got a 4x from the guy to my right avoiding incident ahead. 3 more 4x incidents during the race from people losing it in front of me and having no where to go. First drive through since my first season on the service and then sped in the pits. Still finished P11 somehow. Glad this race was over.

League / Hosted Races

Hosted- 

  • Ellis –BMW M2 in the production car challenge started at six finished P3.
    • Then legends Road at Tacuba  got wrecked on the start, but then kept spinning on my own and eventually gave up DNF
    • Then the BMW power challenger in Lagos Brazil

I just listened to your lastest episode, 0480, and was glad to hear that you made room for our Sim Straps in your hardware segment.  I really appreciate the plug.  

Though there seemed to be a mix up with the 2 different products that we offer.

Our main product, the Sim Straps, are specifically designed for 80-20 extruded aluminum rigs.  They utilize the t-slot channel to attach to the rig with a simple twist and no adhesive strip.  They essentially have a T-nut built into the design.

The Workspace Straps utilize the adhesive strip, to be attached to your desk or anywhere you might need it. 

I would like to send some Sim Straps out to you guys for your rigs, simply as a thank you for the plug.  I’ve been a listener of the podcast for a few years now and planned to eventually get some out your way at some point anyways.

Brad Wrenn: Update on the haptics project. I have a link below to the build sheet and photos of the completed project.

When I started this I wanted it to be virtually invisible when you look at the rig. Therefore everything is mounted on the inside of the chassis. You will notice in the pics that I’m very OCD when it come to how the rig looks and I really like clean cables and thing to be neat and tight.

All in this was a little over $400 USD and the immersion factor has really gone up. I have the settings pretty dialed in on the road side but I’m still tweaking the oval setup. I can say for certain that when it comes to haptics, less is more. There are so many things to add in Simhub but when you over do it, it really gives you not usable feedback.

I’m not sure how many of you have haptics but if you don’t, I would put them on the wish list. The next phase will be to add them to my pedals but that will wait a little. The wife was nice enough to let me splurge on these. Enjoy the photos and feel free to ask any questions.

Wednesday Open -NiS – Talladega

  • Mike- P17 got to the lead around lap55 and then ended up hitting under green coming into the end and then a caution came out after  pitting. Final restart was 14 got to 10 but on the final lap, I got shuffled to 17 in a wreck.
  • David – P dnf, severe penalty after being stuck on the outside when time to pit came
  • Tony – P7 accidentally Missed the start while looking for some Kayne West news about his cousin for Tyler Williamson. Unlike said whacked ass clown i did not suck. Eventually made my way from the back to front where i was playing fuel strategy. With like 25 laps to go with the last caution i was lap ½ short. But made it to about 5 to go where i realized couldn’t save the remaining. 3 of a lap and had to pit with 7 to go. You always 2nd guess your self on what you should’ve done. Which i should’ve went in and topped off with 1 lap to green and probably would’ve had a top 3
  • Chris – P 23. Had a great run going. Pushed Justin to the lead with 2 to go. We got disconnected and I spun in pit lane for 50 feet and a black flag. Finished 9th but the penalty made me 23rd. 
  • Brad- P28 Did not have a great start but managed to work my way up due to pit strategy. Right after the first round of green flag stops, just as the leaders were catching our group, my connection started going. Ended up getting dropped and once I got back in I was 3 laps down. This will be a theme this week.

Thursday Open- NiS – Talladega

  • Mike- P right in the middle of the race just after halfway we got the plug pulled on us. The entire service went down. 
  • David – P same 

Official Series

FIA F4 Americas 

  • Mike – P6 ran fixed Long Beach. Qualified 15th there was a big pile up in the fountain. I waited for them to clear. And drove through and finished P6.

A Open

  • Brad W – P18 Started mid-pack with Mike. We really struggled to make any forward progress. But as the race was finishing up, I managed to lead the outside line up to the front. Coming to the line I was in p4 only to get turned from my pusher to finish p18 backwards taking the checkers. I have this type of racing!
  • Mike. P was just racing along and the power turned off on my computer suddenly, no idea why.

IMSA

  • Hall – P2, p4, p4 at the Glen
  • Brad W – P24 (GT3 @ Watkins) Started p4 and was running with the leaders until killing the left side coming on to the front stretch. Car lost some speed and I had fallen back to p7. Made pitstop and actually got the damage fixed. Came out in p2 and was pulling away from p3. With about 10 minutes to go, I get dropped from the server. Why does it never happen when I’m running p20?
  • William W- P13 Imola – Absolutely love this track. Haven’t raced it since porsche cup. I am not made for top split yet. Range of 7000-2500. Messed up qualifying and started near the rear, held my own pretty well but was 1 sec slower than top guys.

Grass Roots Racing 

MX5 League

  • William W- P20 – Money shifted. Slight contact with weaver, jolted wheel much more than it should have, and bumped the shifter a second time. 

GTP/GT3 League

  • William W –  P5. 50 cars on the grid!! Chaos on lap 1. When back and counted and got hit 5 separate times. Sloppier race than normal, but I’ve been told that Imola is naturally like this. Had a lot of pace, but tough getting back front after losing time dodging incidents. After pitting every time I got within a second of 4th a GTP would separate us in a slow corner and gap would go back to 2.5s. Overall happy with the result considering everything. 

Hosted- 

  • Ellis –FF 1600 rookie series at Virginia international raceway North course. Started P6 finished P4.
    • Qualify my best lap ever qualified P6 finish P4
    • I switch to rookie legends at South Boston and winner winner, chicken dinner by 106 career win 
    • Then switch cars to mini stock rookie at South Boston was running second and got taken out by a lap car to finish P9
    • Try again, started third ended up finishing P3
    • Then the pro to light truck at wild West motorsports Park finished P6
    • Then switch to the dirt mini stock at Lanier qualified 11th out of 13. Finish 10th.
    • Then we switched to the micro nonprint car rookie at Lima land finish ninth
    • we switch to the micro wing Sprint car at limaland . P9
    • Volkswagen beetle light. At Phoenix P2.

Friday Open – NiS – Bristol

  • Brad- P wrecked. Got caught up in trying to avoid a spinner and crushed the inside wall ending my race.

Sunday Open- NiS – Bristol

  • Tony – P4 stayed top 5 car most of the race till there was a wreck and was slowly passing it when I got t-boned on the top. but cautions kept me in top 5 still and even got to lead some laps on the final restart. But got screwed in pits when i got tires and only had 1 set left with 70 to go. :/ hindsight should’ve taken them on the final restart with 50 to go. Probably would’ve stayed competitive.

Official Series

A Open

  • Brad W – P7 (Las Vegas) Started p3 and ran up front until getting lulled into racing way too hard to the end. Cooked the tires and fell back to p7.
  • John K. – P10  Had a great run going on lap 50. Car to the outside of me decided to pit from the outside lane and I rear ended him. Gave me 37 seconds of optional but never had time to fix it since there was only one caution. The front end damage slowed me down the rest of the race, but I’ll take the top 10.

IMSA

  • Hall – P4 Imola – liking the new tire model

Indycar iRacing Series

  • Tom D – P5 (First race Saturday). Started 16th, was able to work my way to a top 5.  Long Beach can be fun

League / Hosted Races

GTP/GT3 League

  • William W –  Daytona P6 – Running 3rd on the first lap in turn 4 when car in about 10th forgets to brake. Missed all but me and 4th. T-Boned causing wheel damage and dropping me to about p17 and causing a giant pileup behind us. Frustrating as this is a good track for me especially with Long Beach next week.
    • Long Beach – P9. Can’t stand this track. I’m slow here and feel like the McLaren is too. Running 4th and made a mistake coming out of T8. Spun in front of a GTP. Luckily no damage but lost a lot of time. 

MX5 League

  • Wiliam W- Daytona: P6 – Was open quali by mistake and I just did not get a draft in quali so started P18ish. Was able to keep it clean and drive through the field, but just couldn’t get any drafting help to catch the lead pack. 
  • Long Beach: P14. Was having a good time running with someone from the GT league in around 10th when my internet had a hiccup. Blinked out in front of someone, came back in his car, and perry the platypus died a spectacular death.

Hosted- 

  • Ellis – p Ray formula 1600 @VIR. P6
    • Next race wrecked out turn one lap one I was a bit aggressive and Guy did not give me any room
    • Next race finished P6 after starting dead last in 10
    • Got wrecked out and turned to this time fell the dead last made my way back up to finish P6
    • Started at six got the second on lap one and ended up finishing third
    • Qualified my best time ever in this race only qualified ninth out of 11. Got the fifth by lap one but fell to finish P6.

Friday Open – NiS – Darlington

  • Mike- P dnf – kept getting involved in other people‘s wrecks seven minutes damage eventually completely wiped out too much damage were done
  • Chris- P dnf. 
  • Justin – P WINNER!
  • Tony -P didn’t Even make it 3 laps. Lap 3 guy sent it in the corner and under me in 4 and put me in the wall killing my right front. Thought last 2 years my racing in a slump nope 2025 is looking to become worse. Ive lost just about 400 putting me in the 1600s. Something stop my bleeding 
  • Brad- P28 A disaster of a race. Was wrecked three times and not once was I at fault. I was running in the top 10is to start but when trying to make a pass into T3, guy behind decided to throw it three wide. That was just the start. Towards the end I had a chance for a decent finish until I was literally driven through in T1 and T2. DNF
  • John – P6. Had an unusual event here. I was in P6 and got a lucky dog. That’s the highest position I’ve ever seen one. Bad news is that on the restart I got a black flag for passing under yellow. What happened was spotter was saying let the #8 car by, but he was nowhere around me. Iracing has got to fix this. The only way I could have avoided this was to stop at the start finish line as the green flag flew. Frustrating, but I had a great run and was happy with a P6.

Sunday Open- NiS – Darlington

  • Tony – P9 this tramp got me in a different way this year. Fast car on a long run was a top 5 car all race til towards the end on a restart a guy didnt like me passing him on the bottom out of T4 and just left doors me. Fixed damage and got out of the pits same time as it closed. Some how put me a lap down and starting behind the leader. I just stayed on the apron on the restart so wouldnt BF anyone… Few laps later got the lucky dog and was making my way around pits were open til they weren’tjust as i crossed the line and black flagged me the the hell ya db whore. couldnt serveit til the last GWC. 
  • Chris – P9. After two rare DNFs from the Waldron’s Furniture team, it was time to regroup and refocus. With iRacers Lounge teammate Justin Pearson, the Friday night NiS winner, getting on the pit box to coach our Sim Wraps Dale Earnhardt throwback. The first half of the race we fine-tuned the car with Premier Set-Up Shops adjustments. In the second half, we started making moves. A late-race caution with 10 laps to go found us in P19. We took two tires, lined up P14, and pushed our way to a hard-earned P9 finish at the checkered flag!

Sunday Fixed- NiS – Darlington

  • Mike- P7- finally after a horrible week I get a decent finish and pull off the top 10 basically stayed out of trouble this time and avoided and kept the nose clean

Wednesday Open -NiS – Bristol

  • Mike- P dnf –got involved in too early cautions with no damage really and then I had a guy beaten on my back door four times and four laps and eventually I ran into the wall and then he took me out from there and drove through me too much damage we’re done. He started cussing after that so we turned in a replay to get that guy parked.
  • David – P8  Low line was really good on long runs, but we finished with a 15 lap shootout.  Took 2 tires and stayed high to defend.  Thought I was in trouble early as two spins right in front me for 8x in the first 10 minutes.  
  • Brad- P6 Ran at the front the whole race. Was enjoyable when we would get a longer run and to watch the guys that cooked their tires come back to me. The Premier Racing Setups this week are good on the long run. Had a chance to grab the lead with about 30 to go but clipped the wall attempting to pass. Crew said I had no damage but the car was never the same after. A late restart and only grabbing two tires would prove to be the wrong call.

Thursday Open- NiS – Bristol

  • Mike- P 20. Had a good run early on stayed out of trouble and worked my way from the back up to the front but eventually got destroyed in two different cautions with seven minute damage I couldn’t steer at all went many laps down and just rode it from there to finish P 20.
  • David – P6, is  the damage model bugged?
  • Brad – P5 Ran up front all race and was able to grab a top 5. The cooler weather has made tire management much easier than the A Open. We had one nice long run and everyone was starting to come back to me about the time the yellow came out. I never run the afternoon races so there were many names that I did not know.

Official Series


A Open

  • Brad W – P2 (Bristol) What could have been…Typical Bristol race, some yellows and a long run. I drove out to a 4 second lead only to have a yellow come out with 25 to go. Eventual winner took two tires and I took four. I was faster but it was hard to pass as he was ripping the high line. I probably could have forced the issue but didn’t want to win that way. Premier Sets are a rocket this week!

C Open

  • John K – P wrecked every time. Ran about 6 of these. Typical Talladega. Still fun though. 

IMSA

  • Brad W – P12 (GTD-Fuji) Top split so I did not expect to have a great finish. It would have been better but self spun from 10th place. I like this track but I struggle so badly in the last sector. Just can’t figure that section out.

Indycar iRacing Series

  • Tom D – P2 on Wednesday night @ Long Beach.  Qualified 15th.  Was not my fastest on the primary tires.  Once I switched over I was able to move forward.  I’ll take a top 5 and look forward to Saturday with 2 more chances

League / Hosted Races

Hosted- 

  • Ellis – pro trucks at South Boston
    • GEN four at Michigan with full horsepower
    • Old Indy car at Talladega. Started 52nd out of 60. Finish P5.
    • Supercars at Michigan led some laps was leading on the white but got dumped on the back stretch by  2nd place. P6
    • 87 at Talladega towards the final laps I got to the front top 3 to 5 one guy got out to the lead and he started getting cocky on the radio saying oh now I’m in control of the race and so when I got up behind him, I gave him a little bump draft did reckon he got a little out of shape, but he kept his position. He stayed in front of meno big deal. Well, it was a big deal for him because he went after me and tried to wreck me he got up behind me, made a violent attempt at wrecking me, and actually missed and wrecked himself and several others. I called him out for it ended up finishing P3.
    • Did an AI race with adaptive AI at Bristol on the highest setting started 20th out of 40 and got to the lead around lab 17. It was too easy eventually they all piled up in a parking lot on lap 35 and I stopped in there. I had lapped the field up to ninth place.
    • BMW at Winton qualified third out of 10. Finish P3.
