NEWS: In hopes to provide more opportunities for passing, NASCAR officials have announced rules updates to the NASCAR Cup Series' superspeedway package.
From now on I'm reporting every driver that does this. 3 races I've lost this exact same way today. drivers have no respect for their competition. they'd much rather drive through the leader to win than race clean and have a respectable finish. We got the green and once again got a wreck ending the green flag portion of the race. Originally, Ryan Luza had just nicked Zack Novak at the time of the caution, but they had stayed out did not have enough fuel to make it back around, or did not have enough gas to maintain pace… pic.twitter.com/g2nbRFzcC4
Pace speed was more than maintained, everyone just decided to drive around me because they knew I couldn’t afford to full throttle it around the track under caution and catch the pace car immediately. I was doing 120mph when they passed, Pace speed is 70. Clear rules are needed.
i am honestly thankful to have gotten two years at the highest level of oval sim racing, but man it just isn't worth it anymore.

Mike- P wrecked out was just biting my time running around seventh and a guy in front of me to spawn on his own and took out the whole field four minutes damage I didn’t have the heart to finish
Wednesday Open -NiS – North Wilkesboro
Mike- P started 23rd moved up to the top 10 pretty quick but then got destroyed on a restart and eight minutes damaged DNF
Chris – P7. The outside line had speed and I could drive my way up. Took a few bumps to give me 16X. I said “Screw it, go for it”. We ended with a 50 lap green run and I drove it home P7. Thank You to Sim Wraps for the Wrangler Themed paint.
David – P
Brad- P31 Started p8 and went right up into the top 5. While we did have a bunch of cautions there was some good racing up front. I would stay at the front till just past lap 100 when I decided to take tires. That had me back in traffic and man was it frustrating. I was trying to take my time to get back to the front and made a mistake. When picking up the throttle coming off of turn two the car got loose and I tried to correct and it snapped to the right and killed the right front. I had no steering and then went and killed the left front. Glad that I did not collect anyone else or bring out a caution. The set from Premier is super fast, just the nut behind the wheel made a mistake.

Mike– P in the rain at the green hell starting 14th out of 17th. The race starts they pile up in front of me. I have nowhere to go. I’m destroyed before I even get to the start line.
Then started first, but it was dry, but I quickly fell the fifth because I am not fast compared to these other guys round lap two out of six. I screwed up and wrecked into the wall DNF.
Ring Meister
Mike – P it’s the Dalarra IL 15 formula car. Started fifth quickly got the third but got dumped from behind in the first breaking zone DNF.
Started 14th got the second by the end of lap one I had a slow spin by myself. I recovered the third and then brought it home winner winner, chicken dinner we will take it. Career win number 158 BB

Brad W – P14 I threw away a p6 finish because I just suck at picking up off tracks here. This reminds me of the old Spa when it first came out. The limits are really tight and I was over driving the car trying to stay at the front. Hit the track limits and had a drive through coming to the white flag. Not in it for ints this season but just hate throwing away a good finish.

Mike- P21- had a fast car went up through the field several times as high as third place at one point but with about 30 to go I got destroyed when I wrecked on my own getting loose about five minutes damage just tried to bring it home from there finish P 21
David – P2. avoided the trouble. Had good long run speed, but the last run was 70 laps and with it getting split in half by the leaders I just didn’t have enough new tire speed to keep up with the leader. He would come back after 40 laps, but our last stint was only 35. Relieved to get a podium, but irritated from the previous two runs and this was a track i had a shot at a win.

Tony -P wrecked out was on the inside of a car coming out of 2 and he wiggled and i got net coded right in the back wall
Brad- P7 Started p20. Somewhat of a sloppy race. I was caught up in multiple incidents that were not of my making but was able to come away with a p7. That helped to make up for the DNF from Wednesday.

Sunday Open- NiS – Chicagoland
Tony – P3 fast again stayed in top 5 all race. Turns 1&2 were just tighter than have been all week. Restarted 3rd on final gwc. Was 2nd on white and pushed it a little hard in 2 and caught the wall. It’s been a fun and a fast PRS set.
Wednesday Open -NiS – Echo Park Speedway
Mike- P wrecked out was involved in three major incidents and finally didn’t walk away from it. I did have one run where I went from 25th to 10th up the middle between the two lanes and like three laps super fun.
Tony -P14 I hate new Lanta. Such shit racing. Whoever designed this repave with the tri oval needs to be dragged out back and hung upside down and gutted. Pretty much stayed in top 5 most of the race til about 10 to ago caught a spinning car got damage fixed and
Chris – P20. P20, P23, P24 in my last 3 NiS starts after running solid Top 5 and 10 all 3 races. It is frustrating and a gut punch but… that is racing sometimes. Got to keep wheeling it and the bad luck will stop sometime.
David – P wrecked by a guy passing below the red line
Brad- P1 WINNER..WINNER! I started p15 and would make my way to the top 5 pretty early. This race felt like it was going to be very tame for an Atlanta race, until it wasn’t. I would get collected in multiple wrecks that would happen directly in front of me. Had the first one missed till I was hit from behind. Unfortunately I could not avoid teammate Chris Waldron when the car ahead of him was turned. I would end up with 12x before the natural GWC. I restarted in p5 and stayed in the bottom lane. The leaders would get together coming out of T4 coming to the checkered. That allowed me to slip under and a healthy push from the car behind would give me the .002 margin over P2 for the win. Really thought this was going to be a winless NiS year but glad to grab the W!
Thursday Open -NiS – Echo Park Speedway
Tony – P2 avoided all the l wrecks to stay up front and even led some laps but just didn’t have any help on the 2nd GWC.
David – P5, got damaged by another guy trying to pass under the line, but made it through the carnage at the end. Something has to be done about people going below the red line to try to pass. You should not have to just hold your ground and let them wreck you to make it a protest able maneuver.

Mike- P DNF qualified P8 out of 26. Got to fifth pretty quick, by halfway to the lead for a bit, then running about fifth on the outside guy in front of me just twist in a circle and wipes us all out, dnf.
Ring Meister
Mike – P2 GT4 started at ninth. Quickly made my way up to P2 about 3 1/2 seconds behind the leader. He was faster though and gap me up to eight seconds at the end P2.
Started fifth leader got away quick second was holding us up for a bit before he went off by time I got to second place. He was four seconds out by the end of the second lap. He was eight seconds out. I’ll be getting frustrated. Never gonna win in this car so I ended up actually missing the corner and killing the car. DNF.

Ellis – P GTO 90 @Mount Washington time attack got the P2. Only 9.2 seconds off of P1. Which I had ChatGPT tell me that’s 2.8%.
Next knight got to within 1/10 of the winter
I kept plugging and I finally did it. I beat him by about 3 1/2 seconds with a five minute 21.8 second. P1.

Mike- P wrecked out, got dumped in the air pan again from behind and then I wrecked out later on cause I was frustrated
Chris- P – DNF. Wrecked taking the lead with 2 to go.
Tony -P3 led 63 laps had fastest lap but killed the right front after 25 laps
Brad- P17 Top Split again. Never really had any issues in this race. I let the fast guys go and kept it very clean with only one 1x. I will say that the car definitely felt better this year on the road courses than it did last year.
Steven – P13 ran top 7 the whole race started P3 first green white checker. A dummy pulled down in front of me before the start line I ran into the back of him and spun out. He pulled down as soon as it went green.
Kyle – P3 stayed top 10 and just ran my ass off for the last 12 laps.
Sunday Open- NiS – Sonoma
Tony – P5 ran ok. Stayed on track and away from wrecks. I think this is my best road finish in the next gen ever. Something clicked with me last week on how I brake which carried over to Sonoma. But glad this is the last road course of the year
Wednesday Open -NiS – Chicagoland
Mike- P wrecked out I was in the first caution got my damage fixed went from the back to the front as high as P4 just passed halfway car with a rocket ship, but I got a little loose that over corrected and it’s stuffed into the wall DNF
Tony -P3 ah back to oval racing. Ran a great race. Jumped to lead early and pretty much ran my front right off after ½ way through a run and losing the lead. Ended up leading 63 laps even had fastest lap. But was about 15 laps short of having a win with me not able to save my right front. Felt good to actually have a good race
Kyle – P3 Started P10 and just ran a fast consistent race. Setup was crazy fast. I’ll take my podium P3.
David – P18 , had a top five car. Late caution by dumbass back markers, then 2 guys stay out with 40 lap old tires wreck each other on the restart, i don’t hit them but have to stop and fall from 5th to 18th.
Brad- P 32. Started 18th and had driven into the top 10 within the first 15 laps. There was a spinner on the front stretch and I tried to go to the apron to avoid him but did not get low enough and he came down. Too much damage, we’re done.
Thursday Open -NiS – Chicagoland
David – P19, had a leading car, wrecked at the end by a someone who might be seeing me if i continue iracing

Brad W – P27 Wrecked out early. I tried to clear myself coming off on turn 2. I thought I had room but did not. On me but had I been the guy behind me I probably would have lifted. Being that it was early in the race.

GTP/GT3 League – Spa – Endurance Race
William W – P1 Put it on the pole and didn’t look back. 90 minute race. I thought I was going to run away, but 2nd place kept me honest once the gap got to about 3 seconds. Had one scary moment coming out of Stavelot, but otherwise just focused on keeping it clean. 2 in a row.
Brad W – P7 I had decent speed but nothing for Westbrook. Still trying to get myself comfortable in the McLaren but finding pace. Week one was bad but making progress each week.
Elbows Out Racing League (LMP2 and GT3 Wednesday Nights)
William- P3 Spa Man the racing up top here is something. Weaver put it on the pole by .05 over me and we rode 1-2 nose to tail until the traffic started. Was about 3 seconds back after traffic and kept that until the pit. Almost had team mate on team mate violence when Pax GTP driver JD Daniel locked the brakes in the bus stop, but no harm no foul. However later the LMP2 traffic was absolutely atrocious. Hit by at least 3 different ones at different parts of the race. With about 8 laps to go I got into a battle with another GT3 for 3rd. Some of the best, tightest racing i’ve had on the service. Words won’t do it justice, so I’ll post a video of it later on discord. Traffic caused havoc again and I fell to 4th but third place spun with 4 to go and I gained the position. 3rd is a great finish here, but feel a little let down at the same time. Weaver picked up a nice P2 after leading a majority of the race.
Broken Wing Racing League (GT3 Only)
William – P14 Motegi Picked up a GT3 single class series to scratch the non-multiclass itch. Lots of fast guys at the top here. I don’t have a lot of laps at Motegi, and I’m struggling a little bit to adapt to the open qualifying we do here. Started P24 and made it to 14 though so not bad. Missed the podcast last week but went from 20-10. I maybe have pace for top 7 here, but gotta figure qualifying out. Moving through the field in 45 minutes is quite tough.

David – P2. Really surprised by this result. Something just click and I was also good at staying off the walls. The leader was in his own league though and lapped everyone.
Wednesday Open -NiS – Sonoma
Mike- P DNF. Started a 22nd quickly made my way up to P 16 before in the hairpin I checked for a little bit of a check up in front of me. A guy ran right through the back of me and wiped out about four or five cars I lost all my spots back to P 22 drove it back up to 19th only to spin on my own and kill the car with 14 to go
Tony -P12 started in the back made my way up to 10th just before half way wentboff track to avoid a spinner and didn’t realize i had a slow down til too late which turned into a black flag. Served the 41 second penalty while pitted and my car only took left side tires so had to pit again for rights. Overall i actually finished a road race for the first time I can remember. Think i might of found how to brake in this car properly
Kyle – P9 Started P16 and just ran my own race. Kept all 4 corners clean and only went off track 4 times. Late race mistake caused me to give P8 and just brought it home P9.
Chris – P1 at Sonoma! Qualified P3 in the Waldron’s Furniture/iRacers Lounge Chevy Camaro. The polesitter checked out early before crashing, and after pit strategy put me back out front, the leader exited pit road right in front of me but pushed too hard on cold tires and crashed. From there, I just hit my marks, kept the car clean, and drove away to a 12-second victory. A huge thank you to Premier Racing Setups for another winning setup and Sim Wraps for the great-looking red Chevy Camaro!
David – P12. Fell to 26th early from a few small mistakes and just being more careful that others, worked my way back up through survival.
Brad- P made 3 laps. Started p16 and just after crossing the line two guys to my inside get together and come across the track. No where for me to go, damage to the front and then get turned into the inside wall. Get going dead last and make it two more laps before some yahoo decides to make a very unsafe rejoin. He literally drives into the right side of my car and yells at me for not using the whole track to avoid him…REALLY? Here’s your protest. Enjoy.

Tony – P9 only 68 people signed up for this session and think thats the lowest ive ever seen a nis race. Q’d 10th stayed out of trouble got lapped 3 times. Avoided wrecks off tracks were my only Xs again. Slow but steady

Tony- P8 & P12 its Daytona week in the trucks so tried to do some farming. Got yelled at and was told how I should drive when I switched lanes by a car and half gap by a 800ir C class driver. STFU

Mike – P eight in the Mustang FR 500 S at the ring start 10th got up to six try to get around the guy in front of me. He ran me off. I was able to save it but lost all my spots.
Wrecked out was running from fifth clear up to second the leader was seven seconds out but faster than me and then I lost a spotter too, and I was getting too greedy and wrecked it DNF
P3 started P4 in top split. They were definitely faster than me. Top three got away far away, but I was the best of the rest and one guy had a problem so I went up to third.
Then I started third and top split but wrecked at the top of the hill and couldn’t get it turned around, so dnf

Brad W – P15 (Watkins-Top Split) Finished where I started. The race was pretty tame but the SOF swing was huge. I was car 36 out of 41. Extremely outclassed. I was surprised not to have a larger field on Sunday night.

Brad – P10 (Watkins). Started p15 and kept it clean the whole race. I’m going to try and do more of these with the intent on making my in class GT3 racing better for IMSA. The racing is usually very aggressive in this series and I think that can help my race craft.

Brad W – P7 after starting P9. Finally put a whole race together. I felt like I had a good pace for where I was running. For once the chaos happened behind me. Looking forward to a good season in GRR.

Ellis – P pick up top at Daytona started 15th the entire field wrecked and turned two. I went to the grass to miss it. Only three cars survived the big wreck. I was able to go on and win the race.
Then carburetor cup Adega started fifth was leading the most laps leading on the White. They got a big run on the outside and got by me, but I went up and made a new middle and kind of pushed my way through and won the race.

David – P 20, was just slow, couldn’t pass or hold position
Tony -P29 wrecked out early. Caught when 2 cars decided to make love to each other couldn’t avoid
Brad- P Big wreck – was having an ok race but the car got loose getting into T3 and when I tried to save it, it hooked to the right. I think this was one of the more violent hits that I have had. Other drivers were commenting on it right after it happened. Almost sounded like the radio chatter after the Elliott/Bell wreck at Michigan.

David – P11 basically just had to not pit and play for track position, once single file no one passed

Sunday Fixed- NiS – Pocono
Mike- P wrecked out at the very end. Had a alternate fuel strategy going put it under green with 36 to go with one other guy shortly after the caution came out we cycled up to the front but that I had a guy come across my nose and give me slight damage and I faded back to 11th before I got destroyed and then tried to limp at home. I got destroyed again and two subsequent cautions.

Tony -P24 made it through til over drove into redbull wall

David – P 5, stayed clean, gained a lot of sr, surprised by this result
Brad- P11 – Top Split. I was nowhere near the speed of the other drivers but I did not wreck as much as they did. This was the ultimate, just keep it on the track. I had more issues with the second set of tire stacks. That was the one area that gave me the most trouble all of the race. The track is very challenging but really cool at the same time. If I had to choose, I would go back to Chicago over this. Probably one and done for me this week.

Mike – P1. And the GT threes I get it done in the first attempt of the season winner winner chicken dinner started third and was able to stay there as the 2 L were faster than me. I had no hope but they ended up crashing each other out at the end of the long street and I was able to keep on trucking on for the win
Tried to go for two in a row, started on first position, but he got by me quick and drove away and ended up in a good battle for a second and was able to keep it at P2

GTP/GT3 League – Watkins Glen – Sprint Race
Brad W – P wrecked out, twice. Never made it through the esses on lap one. We had a big bobble out of turn one and I started to think about making a pass on the car ahead but the driver behind looked to be making it three wide so I tried to tuck back in but was turned and from then on I think half of the GT3 field was collected. I took my tow back to the pits and my fast repair. Came out p28 and started to try and climb back. I was up to p25 and battling for position in turn 1 but would lose the car while making a pass on the inside. A big impact into the armco so I called it a night. Not a great way to start Season 8.

Ellis – P ran the week 13 Coronado GEN seven got a PS five hit the wall quite a bit, but still finished

Then started second led some laps, but another guy got by me and I finish P2.

Mike- P16. Started in the back got in one caution with a little bit of damage went to the back again, but I’ve come up through the field twice. Took the lead on some alternative fuel strategy around lap 35 and was able to keep it right up till about five to go where they finally got a run on me and I drifted up into a guy a little bit and he wrecked and gave it to me verbally over the radio from that point forward. He would not stop. Next restart I get loose and fall back into the field rally up to P 16.
Tony -P26 caught in a wreck as usual
Brad- P15 What a mess of a race. Forgot to change the set from qual to race so chased the car all race. Was involved in multiple wrecks, one caused by me from getting tight under another car coming off T4. Was never able to get the feel that I needed in the car.
Kyle – P24 Started on the pole but couldn’t hold it long and dropped quickly to the top 15. Raced my way back towards the front and kept it clean. Coming to 2 to go P4 snaps loose and then snaps back into me sending me into the outside wall and ruining my top 5 finish.
Sunday Open- NiS – Michigan
Tony – P33 man felt fast again. Got tagged while going down to avoid a wreck and did the most Spartacus set barrel rolls down the front stretch ended my week of hometown track
Wednesday Open -NiS – Pocono
Mike- P1- winner winner chicken dinner going into this race and throughout I didn’t think I actually had a chance to win but with some good strategy cycled myself up to the front and ran around the top five stayed out once I had put it in that fuel window and it stayed up front as the caution cycled on the last lap. He got to my inside through the tunnel turn, but I wanted the outside and unable to pull him through three and win the race by a couple of car links. Win number 156 second win this year in NIS 30th NIS win.
Justin – P wrecked out
Tony -P10 should’ve ran the loser set. Was fast but burnt my right front up too much. Was cruising into a 4th with 2 to go a rage quitter stopped on the track and caused 2 gwc. 1st gwc got ran into the wall giving me damage and 2nd gwc just barely held on. Only had 4 cautions with a 56 lap run in the middle of em
Chris – P wrecked out real early
David – P Gremlins. Something really weird went and the first time i pitted, my SRA audio, which was working in practice, stopped working, so I sped. Also i got no countdown to the pit so I missed my pit. I then also noticed that the visual spotter for JRT was no longer working. I tried restarted JRT, no fix. Next restart I locked up the brakes avoid a crash and ended up in the wall with 7 min damage. It wouldn’t turn going 5 mph. So i decided to just fix it and go ahead and reboot to see if I could solve the problems. Reboot did not fix. Visual spotter and SRA sound still not working. At some point during another caution I get a stop and hold for entering a closed pit. Not to worried, but I couldn’t get it drop from 40sec to 15sec cause the left tires change box would not turn off, even though I was out of left tires. So I now also had infinite left tires but has to server the 40 sec penalty. Race over I immediately go to a practice server and JRT is now working. So something was borked in that particular race server.
Brad- P10 Felt like I was at Martinsville. 14 yellows for 43 laps under caution. I think the longest run we had was about 6 laps. Guys just driving over their heads. Had someone literally drive through me in the tunnel turn and I somehow did not destroy the car. Was able to get back towards the front as the race was winding down but not enough green flag laps to make a charge. The worst part is the leader ran 58 laps on a tank of gas and still had 8 laps in the tank after taking the checkered. Not looking forward to doing it again on Friday.
Thursday Open -NiS – Pocono
Tony – P2 ran the loser set this time and stayed in top 5 most of the race. Did the 2 tires and adjustments with a 4 to go restart. Went early great run for a lap than got super tight in 2 and knocked the wall down giving up the lead. Oh well
David – P3 – two tires

Major Series – Major 24 at La Mans
David & Tom & Gregg from the Paddock – P2. Might be one that got away. As we had 3 major incidents, 2 on us, 1 on another. Still made it to the end with a lot of others getting caught up in worse messes. 3 of the GT3 teams got busted for sandbagging.
Hosted-
Ellis – P ran several pick up cups at Daytona was wrecked out and all of them
Then gen 7 at Coronado. Made it four laps first lap 15th to 8th was doing pretty good and then I finally over drove it and stuffed it in the wall.
That again moved from 13th to 4th and the first lap made it to lap five before I stuffed it in the wall
Third attempt started at 10th made it to fifth on the first lap and then eventually actually finish the race. P3. Nice podium will take it very fun track.

Mike- P7- had a pretty good race had a couple of moments but pretty much kept the car under me. This time we even had green flag stops and I finished a respectable P7 after not finishing for about three weeks.
David – P wrecked, unavoidable
Justin – P1, They tried to do their best to wreck me but we came out with the victory. Had to drive my little heart out for this one. Been on a roll lately won the 600 last week too. Brad- P6 A much better race than Wednesday. I ran in the top 5 most of the race but a late caution and missed adjustments cost me the top 5 that I had going. Seems like the aggressive driving has continued to ramp up each week as double digit cautions counts are not fun.

David – P13, fade late, then everyone else wrecked
Tony – P28 same song, different dance. Caught in wreck
Wednesday Open -NiS – Michigan
Mike- P3 had a good run came up through the field a couple times ran top five took the lead with 20 to go was leading with just a few to go and the guy on the bottom in second came up into me put me back to 20th I march my way back up to finish P3 if I had five more laps I could’ve won. Great podium finish.
Tony -P6 been looking forwardthis race all year. Home track and what a up and down through the field 3 times leading laps fun time. Slowed for a wreck and got arca braked in the rear. Through the field 1st time. Was aero slammed into the wall of velcro and lost tons of spots which was through the field again. This is where i got the lead and ended up losing it out of 4 in the grass saving it and to the back I went. Through the field 3rd time. Was battling for the lead had the lead down the back into 3 on the white and was just hit by a asshole and just about wrecks me. I dont think i wanted to punch a baby seal more. Had a fire set will try it again. Also shout out to Jeff Kempf for a podcast love in the race
David – P20, caught up in usual crap, 7 minutes damage, finished with 20 seconds of damage
Brad- P9 after starting P9. Another week of guys really driving over their heads (12 cautions). Collected in two wrecks as both would send me to the rear. Fought back to the front and it was looking like a nice run to the end and a p7 finish but with under 10 to go a yellow. Would restart in p7 but would get bottled up coming off T2 on the last lap. Tried to regain the spots through turns 3 and 4 but could not keep the power down. The Premier Racing sets are really good this week just need some longer runs to let things play out.
Thursday Open -NiS – Michigan
David – P3 – two tires

Brad W – P17 (Michigan)after running towards the front all race. Much better race with only three cautions but would get wrecked on the white flag by one of the usual suspects. Nothing like giving someone the entire first lane and they still can’t hold their line. Yes you know who you are.

Mike – P2 –GT fours started 10th quickly got up to fifth got as high as third before I T-bone the guy I had damaged with soldier onto finish p2
P3 starting first but made several mistakes, including spinning on my own as the leader, but still fought for the podium and made it that back up there. P3.
Started second stayed with the leader we swapped back-and-forth for most of the race before I screwed up and wrecked out DNF
Started first, but wrecked out while leading in lap one completely missed the corner and killed the wall
Started First was Squirrley a few times lost the lead legit fell back the second we had a good three car battle going, but then I just blew it and killed the car. Missed the corner. I’m not a fan of these GT cars and I think I’m gonna park it for the week with a good finish of a P2.
Started first made a few mistakes, kept it on the road though finish P2.

GTP/GT3 League – Road America Endurance Race
William W – P1!! Finished the season off on a high note. It was either feast or famine this season. From the beginning it looked like a 3 horse race. Qualified 3rd and ran there until Weaver had issues. Spent the next bit swapping the lead with P1. Was able to get around for good on the second pitstop and brought it home from there. One of my favorite tracks never disappoints. GT3 Pro class saw a bit of a participation decline this season so if you know some friends that are in that bracket please send them my way. Great schedule next season, can’t wait to start.
Brad W – P I suck. Loaded the wrong set for qualifying, had a good last lap going but dropped a wheel off. I started the race and realized I underfueled the car (endurance not sprint race). Got through the first stop and was back to about p10 when I lost it coming out of Canada Corner with about 35 minutes to go. Never really had a chance this season as work had me out of town for a bunch of the races. I am looking forward to next season though.
Elbows Out Racing League (LMP2 and GT3 Wednesday Nights)
William- P4 – Road America. The pace of the top 6 or 7 drivers in the pro class here is truly insane. Any of them can win a race in a given night. Qualified 6th, got to 5th and 2nd to 5th literally rode within 1 second of each other for 40 minutes even with traffic. Differing pit strategies separated us a little in the second stint. Came out of pits 3 seconds back of 3rd and ran him down with 10 min to go. Tried a move into Canada with 3 laps to go and just went slightly too deep. Tapped him in the rear and spun him around. Knew it was my fault so waited on him to get going and we both lost a spot to 5th. He missed his braking marker into 5 on the last lap so gained a position and brought it home 4th. Finished 3rd in the championship here. Can’t wait for the next season here either as the schedule is just as good as GRR.

David – P4 – out ran several 3k road drivers on the long run or on fuel, other high rated drivers didn’t survive

Mike- P wrecked out. I couldn’t drive this set. I couldn’t keep it under me when I could drive it. It was fast, but I eventually wrecked out lap 157.

Tony – P3 what a race tried to survive most of it. Had a spinner tag me causing 6 minutes optional. Had enough cautions to get it fixed. Went down a lap a couple of times to get it fixed. Had an opportunity to get a wave around but the eventual winner pulled over after the start/finish line and was stopped for almost a ¾ a lap and was gonna get my lap back but he rushed back up front and got his spot back. That’s some bullshit. I tried finding it in the replay but couldn’t. I eventually got a lucky dog and my dumbass sped into pit road causing a penalty had to serve under green which i did. Was 2 laps down til about 50 to go where i got 1 back. Was watching Joe and the leader racing each other and was secretly wanting them to both wreck as i was 3rd lol.
Sunday Fixed- NiS – Coke 600
Mike- P DNF a little bit past halfway I creamed the wall real hard off for took out another guy down to the grass for four minutes damage. I just parked it. I wasn’t having fun.
Wednesday Open -NiS – Nashville
Mike- P dnf. Was running about mid pack around lap 15 nobody in front of me lost it. I overcorrected it and hit the wall hard over six minutes of damage. It wouldn’t drive so I parked it.
David – P wrecked by someone who was mad at someone in front of me and driving too aggressively, used an apron that can’t be safely used, entered too hot, and slid up track and left hooked me. He was wise to get out the way when I repaired and came up to him.
Brad- P31 I wrecked myself. I started p6 and decided to try and take it easy early on. Was collected by a spinner ahead that forced me to pit for repairs and send me to the rear. I would start making my way back up and get into the top 20. While making a pass on the outside coming through turns 1 and 2, the car would get loose and I over corrected with a car to my inside. It hooked right and destroyed the right front, too much damage, we’re done. It’s been a while since I took myself out.
Thursday Open -NiS – Nashville
David – P 13, had about a top 15 car. With about 90 to go on a restart the guy in front of me was forced to slam on the brakes, I had no time to react so had about 40 seconds of nose damage, but it stayed green and the car was definitely slow. Ran the fuel out, caution comes out as I’m in the pits, so can’t fix damage, but get the wave around. Another quick caution comes out. I get it fixed, make the short run adjustments and make it to 13th on a short run.
Official Series
Ring Meister
Mike – P GT three started at eight got the seventh eventually got to fourth on the final app. My tires were fading. I fell to eighth and then had a lazy spit off a corner and dumped it in the wall. Couldn’t get turned around DNF.
Then started P2, but quickly wrecked out in the first high breaking corner coming off. I spun it and wasn’t able to get it turned around DNF.
Then started second before the green got dumped by third trying to go side-by-side had to wait for the entire field to go by dead. Last worked my way back up from 30th to P2, but then wrecked out on my own like a fool. DNF hate this car.
Then started first was able to maintain a gap Kia, but on the last lap, he was closing he caught me by the carousel. He passed me on the long street coming to the checker. I went back by him at the very last second and outbreak his ass and went on the win winner winner chicken dinner unbelievable
Then tried two other times to put a race together, but wrecked out on my own. I have no idea how I wanna race before. I can’t even drive this thing.

GTP/GT3 League – Belle Isle
William W – P9? Didn’t own the track before race day. Shouldn’t have bought it. Not a fun time.
Elbows Out Racing League (LMP2 and GT3 Wednesday Nights)
William- P16 – Interlagos. This used to be one of my most hated tracks, but I guess it was because I was bad at it. Whatever breakthrough I had a few weeks ago has found me pace here. Put it on pole, but started on the outside so fell to second by turn 2. The top 4 rode all within 1 second of each other for about 15 laps. Was some of the most fun racing i’ve had in a while. A few position changes, some LMP2 traffic that wrecked early came through, but still kept the top 4 tight. BUT on about lap 16 coming through the front straight I had a hardware failure. I think my USB hub is failing, lost all devices and the car went straight left into the wall. Thankfully didn’t kill anyone, but by the time I got it straight I’d lost a lap. Real shame because I had the pace here, and this would have been a fantastic race up front the whole time.
MEC – Watkins 4HR
Will and William – P3 at Watkins. So I only got one quali attempt because of travel to the expo or we might have been able to put this in top split. Will did a fantastic job quali on pole and turning the car over to me I think in second. Rather uneventful first two stints for us, and really overall not too much. The two cars that finished ahead of us definitely sandbagged quali. The car that won had a 7k and 5.5k driver. 7k didn’t qualify in the session, but had driven to 3rd by the first stop while going a lap farther on fuel than everyone. Little disappointed that the MEC stewards didn’t look closer into that. But doesn’t take away from our race. We’ve had such rotten luck this year that it feels good to get a result like that. We had 0x until I got a lazy off track halfway though the 4th and final stint. Finished with 5 from a near murder by a GTP, but that’s the only contact we had all race. Ended up 2 laps short on fuel at the end of the race, but wouldn’t have gained us a position even if we had been able to save more. Again happy with the result, can’t wait to get that cool plaque, and that locks us into top split for the 12hr finale at Road America, one of my best tracks. Also moved us into 8th in points, which is incredible considering the DNFs we had early. Good result at RA might sneak us into a good finishing spot overall for the season.
Tom & David & – P10 had a gt3 self spin in the carousel, clip the back of our left rear and kill us. He didn’t even know he had hit us when I had some words with him, was apologetic, which was all that was needed.

Well the 2026 season has concluded for me, 2 weeks ago I would have described my season as “amazing” but now I would say unfortunate. Felt like I could have been a genuine playoff contender, now it will be a what could have been.

Mike- P wrecked out about lap 150. Had a lot of trouble off turned four kept slapping the wall trying to spin out eventually I spent out hard and crashed hard.
Tony – RIP ROWDY
David – P1 !!!!!!! had a top 5 car. Brad and Rob Franklin were the class of the field all night, though my car was waking up at the end like it seems to do. Was going to be happy with a p4. Caution comes out with 13 t go. All of us long runners are pissed. I take 2 tires and make big swings on the adjustments. And pass the leader with 4 to go on the inside to take my first oval win in years. I am surprised how emotional a felt for what is supposed to be a “game”
Brad- P4 As David said Rob and I had the quickest cars all race on the long run. Had the race played out with it running green to the end I really felt I had speed left to pass him for the win. But a late race yellow would put us on two tires and I did not take a big enough swing at freeing the car up. Congrats to David but really felt like the racing gods took one away.
A Open
Brad W – P3 (Charlotte) started p5 and was in a good spot until an early caution. Restarting in p5 when the car in p3 decided to restart in 1st gear. He spins to the inside and I get a black flag for passing on the left. Go back to green and serve my drive through. Come out with leaders and get a lucky yellow that gets me back on the lead lap. From there it was drive back to the front. Ran the tires way too hard trying to make up ground but drove back to top5 before a late yellow would send us to the pits. Restarted in p5 and would drive up to p2 before getting tight off of t2 and brush the wall. Dropped back to p3. A good practice for the 600.
Ring Meister
Mike – P Toyota GR 86. Started second was running second on the white and screwed up the carousel and hit the wall hard DNF.
Started fourth on lap one the 2 L had tangled going through the quiddlebachher hohe. I sneak through but got wheel damage. We turned about 5° to one side. About a four second gap at that point was able to hold it and finish off the race and win my first win of the week winner winner chicken dinner. Number 152.
Then started first had several cars behind me for the longest time than one guy kinda sideswiped me and runs me off the track to take the lead. I fall back to fourth and have a good battle for third at the end where I caught him and got to his outside and then he ran me into the grass and then we wrecked pretty hard, but I got a P4.
Lotus 79 Grand Prix series
Ellis- P at mosport. I thought this race was only 45 minutes, but it turned out to be over two hours long. I made it to lap 24 before I basically fell out of the seat. Parked at P 11 out of 14.
IMSA
Hall – Two wins at Road Atlanta – one by a guy being DQed for cheating at the start
Indy 500
David- Friday wrecked out on lap 7. Saturday p12, should have been top 10 but walled it with 60 to go enough for 5 minutes damage. Sunday, wrecked out by a guy passing under, letting him go and he still washes up. Apology not accepted
Tom D – P2 after a 94 green flag run to end it. Did not have enough speed to catch the winner. Had a blast though
Tony P12 friday night was doing ok was 9th with 50 to go and going in for a green flag stop and was mirror watching a guy in my ass drafting me into the pits and sped and slam on brakes and walled it. Wrecked out sunday

I I kind of knew what race car driver I wanted to be and I kind of just saw flaws in the game of man like why is everybody letting everybody go? Like if you know even like when I was late mall racing, everybody, you know, you’d have a 250 lap race, you knew everybody was just going to let everybody go in the first hundred and take care of each other even back then. And I was like, man, well, if everybody’s just letting everybody go, I’m gonna be the one guy to just I’m gonna pass them all. It’s gonna be way easy. It’s way easier at the front. Yeah. You know, at the start of the race, I was like, perfect. And so, I’m always just have thought about flaws in the game.“
Mike’s Take – “This is exactly what we have been wondering about what is happened to the racing in iracing… We have all felt a shift from what the racing was like a few years ago in the sim, versus now… I think Carson’s young person mindset on you never give an inch has resulted in the current racing we see. I started my sim racing adventures back with the original Papyrus Indy Car racing and been what could be called a “hardcare sim racer” ever since. Anyway, Time Attack (TA)… over the past two years I have come to believe that TA is one of the most powerful (and underused) tools available on the service.
My reasoning for this belief? Competition! Not the competition to “win” fast lap awards but rather the utility to improve my own competitive edge by implementing the data available to my advantage. Beyond the more obvious advantage of seeing the line of the fastest guys in a particular car/track combo, I credit TA directly for many improvements to my race performance directly to TA.
The most recent example of this was in the Audi 80, I selected found a couple corners where I was not sure about the gear I was using in a couple corners, rather than using my precious sim time to test and run enough laps to gather meaningful data on the options, I went to TA and set the TA “race against” option to ghost someone who only 3rd or 4th fastest on lap time, but had a notably lower incident count than the fastest lap drivers had. I felt this would better reflect true race pace laps over the “hail Mary” laps that are often required to set a fastest lap.
Not only did I answer my questions about gearing but I happened to notice that in a one of the corners this driver had a much earlier apex than I in one of the corners, while I found this odd, I decided try his line, I noticed that my delta went red… I was about to mentally pat myself on the back for “knowing better” – BUT… he was lined up much better for the following turn than my typical line; and carrying much more entry speed on the following corner than I was capable of – in summary, between verifying gear selection and the line change in the combination of two corner I set a new PB by over a half second! Great return in less than 10 minutes of work!
I use TA whenever possible as part of my race preparation when familiarizing for upcoming races – having the ghost car of a REAL driver (versus the AI) as a rabbit to chase makes the practice time replicate a more authentic competitive feel than just turning laps by myself or in the chaos of official sessions as they fill up.
The other thing TA is great for is when learning a new car and/or track combo – I find it gets me up to speed far faster than just watching track guides and lone practice sessions. In these situations, I recommend ghosting drivers with lap times around .5 to one second faster than what you run, when you beat their lap, simply select the next faster target and move on!
Just some food for thought, and, of course, your milage may vary… but I think there is a lot more to be gained in TA than just the bragging right to a fast lap.

David – P5, finally got a top 5. We had a long run near the end, I was terrible beginning of race, but car came to me. On the long run moved from about 24th to somewhere in the top 10. I saved the last of the adjustments in the PRS notes for the short run at the end and was able to make a couple of passes and hold on to 5th.
Brad- P8 Started p4 and ran at the front all the race. Drove up as high as p2 but failed to make the necessary changes to the car to keep up with the leaders. We had a very long green flag run and I over drove early in that run and really started to fall till a late caution saved me. Was able to throw some tires on and make it back to p8. Had only one chance for a start at Texas.
Sunday Open- NiS – Texas
David – P10, had 16x for the last 40 laps. Lap 1 got 4x from a blinker appearing in my hood. Then 3 wrecks wright in front of me. Again was slow at the beginning of the race but was able to really go on the last run with the final adjustments.
Kyle – P10 Started P6 and ran top 5 for 80% of the race and even led some laps. About 100 laps in we had back to back cautions and I screwed myself by not pitting the first time and pitting on the second caution, getting trapped in mid pack. Drove up towards the front and was set for a top5 finish with 8 to go we get a caution and I get caught speeding in the pits. Luckily a quick caution came and I drove up to the top 20. GWC and on the final lap a big wreck right in front of me and I dive down next to the inside wall to avoid the wreck coming out with a P10 finish. Thank you to David for coming in and spotting the end of the race for me.
Sunday Fixed- NiS – Texas
Mike- Pdnf. There were a lot of early cautions missed all those was running pretty clean. We eventually got in a fuel window. I thought I needed to get fuel in case it went green from here and that put me in the back with the garbage and then there was a big wreck and I couldn’t miss it and I had seven minute damage and decided to park it
Kyle – P20 Started P18 and survived lap1 turn1 But got collected by a spun car who wouldn’t hold their brake and slow rolled backwards into the carousel giving me wheel damage of 6 minutes. Spent the next 42 laps just trying to survive and pick up spots. Not how I wanted to spend my only race of the week just to ride around. Had Top 5 speed and consistency but stuck 6 laps down.
Wednesday Open -NiS – Watkins
David – P pimax logs out at beginning of race, so I come back 2 laps down only to get intentionally wrecked by p24 cause he didn’t like that I passed him clean in the carousel.
Thursday Open- NiS – Watkins
Chris – P 5. Wrecked it early and speeding on pit road. Cost myself the race!
Sunday Open- NiS – Watkin
David – Car blows up entering turn one with the normal down shift!

Ring Meister
Mike – P1 dallara il 15. Indy next. Start at 13th worked my way forward and eventually got the lead right at the end winner winner chicken dinner get it done in the first attempt of the week. Win number 143.
Then tried two in a row started Paul position, but wrecked out, trying too hard at the carousel stuffed it in the wall DNF
Then started on Pole. Kept the lead the whole race had a guy behind me between 4 and six seconds back. Was able to hold the gap racing real hard and take the win again number 145.
Started first and let every lap one guy got to the back of me and net coated into the wall once he hit me and after that I went on to win again this is win number three out of four tries tonight
Then again started second this time got to the lead at the end vinyl app. Some guy tried to dive it in there and took a pulled out enough.
Then on Tuesday, I run again and start from the pool and end up winning the race. That’s four out of six.
Then wrecked out on my own
Now first race of the new week where a different car, the Audi GTO 90 and guess what started second and lead from turn one lap on every lap and won the race winner winner chicken dinner also had the best laugh of the race with a 654 and a 20.4 second gap at the end over the entire field very satisfying wind to get it on the first attempt number 148
Started first got away from people, but ended up making a mistake and going straight into the wall DNF
Then started second first place shoved it in the wall on the first corner. I took the lead and never looked back 22 second gap win number 149.
Then started first drove away from the field pretty much this time a 32nd gap to win number 150
Tuesday night start on First and had a guy stay with me for most of the race. I was slowly get gapping him. Eventually he wrecked and I went on the wind by a 31 second gap over the field win number 151.
Try it again finally top split started third got damaged before the start of the race when fourth wanted to be raced me to the line and put me in the wall. I continued on but wrecked at some point during lap two DNF.
Lotus 79 Grand Prix series
Ellis- P DNF had a great start went from 13th up to eighth go back to 10th was making little mistakes. I spun by myself a couple times and that slow speed came, but then I could tell I lost mental focus around lap 12 I was missing a couple quarters and next thing you know I was in the wall.
Then started 13th got the 10th on the first lap. I was letting people go though after that and gradually worked my way up to P5 from attrition until about 30 or 45 where I went over a curb a little too much and it snapped sideways and dumped me in the wall DNF. P-11 out of 16
Then I’m in top split near the back two or three rows in the back of a 32 car field standing start the Guy one row back but on the inside and I’m on the outside basically jumps to start tries to go up the middle but instead, he just drives over the top of me instead I’m not even halfway through first gear. I don’t even see it coming and I’m in the wall with no left front wheel DNF.

IRLP All-Star Race
Chris W – P11. Just had a blast with the old school The Winston all star race shootout. Wrecked in the last 10 lap shootout but that’s racing. Thanks to everyone who came out!
Grass Roots Racing
GTP/GT3 League – Spa Sprint Race
William W – P1!! Quali P1 and fell to second. Rode there until the pits stops. Exiting the pits the top 4 cars literally came out phased into each other. Cycled to 3rd, leader had an oops with about 3 to go and moved to second. New leader had some awful luck with traffic on the last lap and was able to get a run at the end of the straight. Some contact in the chicane which was unfortunate but everyone agreed was a racing incident. Kept it together for the rest of the lap to take it home.
Road Atlanta – P1!!! My home track and one of the best on the service, but typically don’t have great luck here. Qualified 2nd and was able to get the lead around like 15 with a fantastic pass in the last turn with a little help from traffic. Little tangle between 2nd and 3rd behind me in turn 1 gave me some breathing room. Stretched the lead out to 3 seconds. They started to catch a bit but traffic helped spread things out again. Held on until the end to go back to back in the league. Feels good because the season had been mostly a disa
Elbows Out Racing League (LMP2 and GT3 Wednesday Nights)
William- Spa P4 – Qualified 2nd and rode there until the pit. 1st was fast and not sure I had anything for him. Less than optimal pit stop dropped me to 4th and that’s where I stayed. Good race, but could have a been a better result.
Road Atlanta – P2. Qualified pole by half a second. I love this place. Led the whole first stint, got out to a 4 second lead, but with traffic went into the pit with a 2 second lead. Little slow into the pits, but not bad. However on exit I got on the gas too fast and almost lost it. Between that and the guy in 2nd going into the pits a lap after he came out right in front of me. I normally would have been able to get around him on cold tires, but LMP2 backmarker traffic was in the way for the first 2 of his out laps and he was able to get heat into the tires. Spent the rest of the race absolutely on his bumper, but traffic seemed to appear everytime I got a chance at a run. He had a really bad move under braking with about 15 min left when I got a run into turn 10. He apologized after the race, but that was really the last serious chance I got. With 2 laps to go we both went off track trying to pass 2 lapped GT3 that were fighting for position. We both made contact with one of them, but that ended any chance I had pretty much. Good result, and was happy with it in the moment, but now feel like I let one get away.
Major Series – INDY 500
David – P3, Tyler Beaman had the fast car all race. He was going to loose and me finish 3rd on fuel milages, but a late caution came out. I still held on for 3rd
