Better gear makes you faster.
Upgrading stuff before upgrade pedals.
Set the stiffness of your brake how you want it. Too stiff is not good…
i was in this exact race and it was the most fun i’ve had on iracing in a while. ok 46 cautions is a little much, but a lot of us were having fun in the voice chat and just enjoying being there. wish iracing people would lighten up, calibrate expectations and just try to have fun pic.twitter.com/qcOjNC1B5j
V2Rtv is hosting a never before done sim racing tournament. We’ve united 10 US based arrive and drive sim centers in 8 different states. Each location is allocating a couple of their available sim rigs for this campaign with a combined 30 sim rigs or 30 finalists.
Open qualifying starts on August 15th and runs till September 15th. The top number of drivers based on how many entries will be invited back to their locations on September 25th for a heats-based tournament running the Ford Mustang GT3 at Watkins Glen Cup Layout.
Drivers will be competing for their share of $3,000 (so far) and the winning driver earning $1,500 as the top 5 get paid out.
With over 40 open arrive and drive sim racing centers in the US and 10 more on the way, we can see the next boom in growth for the industry coming out of these facilities. Uniting many of these locations for special events develops a community like partnership between the sim centers allowing them to create their own ecosystems to drive success.
I do know a couple of the owners involved have said they would be interested in being on a podcast and doing some media to promote the unity of these centers.

Brad – P3 (GTD Road America) Started P2. Led almost all the laps. Lost lead right before pitstops. Jumped the leader during the stop. We were running very similar times and how the faster classes caught us was really changing the gap each lap. Had the lead on the last lap until a GTP who was 6 laps down and 18 laps ahead of the car behind him decided to pass me going into the kink. He loses it and wipes me out. Managed to limp to P3 but super frustrated to lose a race because of a very stupid move that had no gain for him and cost me the race.

Related to this weeks podcast on multi-class starts in iRacing, Le Man Ultimate has a system that pretty much covers this. It has the full grid covered with suggested/allowed position indicated for each car, including separation between class if I understand correctly. iRacing can surely solve this in one way or another because the current situation is well short of what’s appropriate (and possible) for cleaner multi-class starts. Below is a very short clip showing part of what LMU added this summer. https://youtu.be/YsfxpDyEB-s?si=IZ0k4nHrVDt_LUIu&t=79
The level of immersion, the cost and availability of ranked racing, and the sense of progression makes this stand out over every other sim on the market.

Mike – P disqualified out at lap 289. I was actually leading the race when I got the drive-through penalty from a lap car sideswiping me. None of my incidents were actual wrecks that I caused or were involved with. They were just small brushes with people that got caught up.
Greg – P4
Kyle- p4
Wednesday Open – Kansas
Mike- P wrecked out in the first caution
Justin – P forgot to take tires and got back with the squirrels
Tyler – P20 ran a great race until a sloppy late restart on the outside from 6th as 2nd never went on green. Put me in the back and played catchup with a ton of cautions. Then doored twice by the same person as he couldn’t keep it low. Felt fast and enjoyed the run under green. Gutted to have these finishes where I’m a contender only to finish this far back.
Brad W – P3. Started p9. Stayed at the front all race and tried to manage my tires. Seemed like all of the accidents were happening around me. The race was looking like it was going to play into a long run but a caution flag in the middle of green flag stops ended that thought. Spent the last 40 laps cycling through yellow flags. Had an incident on the next to last restart where I did not give another driver enough room off of T2 and he spun. Managed to get a decent restart and grab third. Nice to finish one of these for once.
Chris W – P 9. Got 8x on restarts and the race got sloppy it’s 40 to go. We had about 12 laps of green the last 40 laps. With 16x brought it home P9. Hit 3400iR a NEW personal record.

Ellis– at Indianapolis first race of the week I made top split Chase Cabre ended up winning the race. I finished fifth after starting eighth and got 94 points.
Holy cow top split. And another P5 for 105 points.!!!!

Tyler – P5 at Kansas. Car felt great on the long run. Had one caution on the start and stayed green the rest of the way. Really enjoyed the late race battles on old tires.
Kyle Started P 11 and just had a bad ass car. Car was strong. Led 12 laps and battled countless times for the lead. Big shout out to Rich Knott and the battle we had off an on for the last 10 laps. Finished P3
IMSA
Hall – P Fuji 4th, Mosport Wr,6th ,Wr
Brad – P9 (GTD-Mosport) Started on pole in the rain. Had the quickest car and drove away to a 5 second lead only to get hit by a GTP. Regained control and drove back out to a 7 second lead only to get wrecked and have my race ended by the GTP leader. No patience from either of them especially in the rain.
P1 (GTD-Mosport) Started on pole but was not as quick as p2. He passed me on lap two and was able to pull away. Was settling for 2nd but he made a fuel error when pitting and that forced him to make a second stop. I will take the win after being robbed the night before.

Thank you @JeffAddison94 and the @NASCARHall for this! After the pandemic they created a display about all that transpired during that time. The Pro Invitational was part of it and they included the text exchange between Eric Shanks and I getting it started! pic.twitter.com/4p3W06key3
“To do it here, the Coke Series, the Hall of Fame in front of a live audience, absolutely nothing even comes close to this,” White said. “I couldn’t be happier. I’ve never celebrated a win like that.”
On hand to take in the festivities was NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr., who presented the trophy, named in his honor, to White after the event.
It was a full-circle moment for White, who has been a longtime NASCAR fan.
“The biggest thing for me is Dale Jr. is my all-time favorite driver,” White said. “He was my idol as a kid. That moment … just hugging Dale there next to the trophy, it means quite literally everything to me. I don’t know how else to explain it other than surreal.”
—-
“I love the worlds of iRacing and NASCAR coming together equally to drive awareness and support for the event, but also for the sim-racing community,” Earnhardt Jr. told NASCAR.com. “This is a night to celebrate one particular driver but also the four and all the drivers that are in this series. Even a little bit of a bigger deal for because of what the sim-racing community has meant to my life and so I know how it’s positively affected my life and all the guys that are racing in this series and the thousands of customers that are racing on the service that are creating brand new friendships every single day.
“I think that’s where the asset and the value is for NASCAR. Not only can the sim-racing community enrich your life, but there’s a younger demographic there that NASCAR can tap into as well. To see just the growth of the event alone in the last three years has been amazing.”

I just started listening to the iracers lounge and I love your show. I listen to you to keep up on the world of sim racing. On a couple of shows, you downplayed the Logitech G Pro wheel as something that should be avoided or a ‘hard pass.’ Let me provide a situation where maybe the Logitech Pro shouldn’t be overlooked.
I built a GT7 only rig for use with the PSVR2 on Playstation 5. At the time the only two solutions were Fanatec and Logitech. Fanatec’s future was uncertain, and you suggested staying away from Fanatec because support and software updates were unknown. That left Logitech as the only viable solution for direct drive PS5 support.
For sim racers that are PS5-based, the Logitech G Pro is a pretty good wheel/pedal solution, especially if you are still unsure of Fanatec.
I’m not biased, this is my backup rig, my primary rig is for iRacing and uses a Simucube Pro and Heusinkveld Pro pedals.
Mike – P10– ran near the front most of the night on the last run we could just barely make it on fuel if we saved, saved like crazy the entire stent and made it to the end was only .1 left of fuel.
Greg – P
Kyle- P5 kept it clean for the most part and only ran the bottom until 3 laps to go and the lanes all went to the top and I was able to get a draft with some cars and brought it home P5
Tony -P Ran out of gas on gwc 3of3 😑
John -P wrecked out on the final green white checker after starting in the top five on the restart
Brad – P9 after starting p9. We ran near the front most of the night but were on the wrong fuel strategy. We saved enough but gave up too much track position to those that pitted and ran full speed.
Sunday Open – Talladega
Mike- P1 winner winner, chicken dinner a great race I stayed up front. Most of the race was in command, leading the race near the end with a bunch of late cautions had a great help from Aaron Macearchin he stayed with me the whole time pushing me right up to the checker and he got dumped from the guy behind him. Lost my help the outside was coming, but I did beat them to the line just barely. That’s my 102nd career win, my first win of the year in this season in this series. So happy to finally close the deal this year.
Chris- P 6. Stayed back the whole race. Missed the late wrecks. Got GWC got out the outside and gained 10 spots to finish P6.
Justin -P wrecked out
Greg –P8 started third on the second green white checker and then a caution came out and had to pit for fuel.
Tom – P4
Sunday Fixed – Talladega
Mike- P wrecked out on the second green white checker. Led a lot of laps on the final run and had to save fuel. I was at 90% throttle as the leader for the whole run and then we had a late caution and decided to pit for fuel for green white checkers since I didn’t have enough for that and couldn’t get my Way made back up through there without getting wrecked. Shoulda stayed out
Justin –P5
Chris – P 25. Missed a big wreck while I was trying to run up front. Had to pull down to the pits to miss it. Black Flag City “passing under yellow, entering closed pit” served a 26 second penalty and went 2 laps down. Got one back but fell short of the second. P25
Kyle P9 started P13 and got collected up in a big one. Had over 9 minutes of damage to fix. Decided to fix it little by little until near the end i was able to fix it all and was able to keep decent speed. After 2 GWC I was sitting P19 and then Mr Pearson jumped in and became my spotter and the man painted a beautiful picture of what was going on in front of me and what lane to use. I went to high lane 3 sometimes 4 wide and avoided wrecks that were happening in front of me and thanks to Justin’s guidance as it all happened he directed me to a P9 finish.
Wednesday Open – Charlotte ROVAL
Mike- P there was a big pile up and turned two at the beginning of the race that I had to stop because the track was blocked and I ended up being dead lasted after that then worked my way up to 15 around halfway before I wrecked out around halfway,, ended up, hitting the wall and having about six minutes damage it wasn’t even drivable after repairs
Brad W – P24 after starting p24. I was in the top split and knew that a top 20 would be about the best I could hope for. Ran clean and worked my way up to p18 until 4 laps to go. Something broke in the right front coming out of the infield section. Car hooked right and plowed the wall killing the motor. Up until that point I had only a 1x from cutting the curb too tight on the front stretch. Very weird.
Kyle P – P16 got involved in 3 incidents on lap 1 and 2 and got in a big one due to a stopped car going into nascar turn 1 and got a meatball on lap 5. Fixed the 6 minutes of damage and just drove around until the end bringing home a P16 after having to do a drive through.
Greg – P22
Chris W – P 21. I hate the Roval with a passion. Crashed out. Glad to be put out of my misery.
Thursday Open – Charlotte ROVAL
Mike- P choked and qualifying card number 34 of top split started dead last. Somebody spun in front of me on the pace slap and I actually hit the wall under pacing we got started. I worked my way up to about 27th with some great moves, and then I spun on my own and fell back again. Later on after I’ve settled in and I’m just clicking off laps. The leader in the one car comes up behind me to lap me going into the final chicane and as we exit the chicane, he decides to run through me and dumps me into the outside wall, destroying the car dnf. This is actually my sixth DNF in a row since Sunday morning.
Official Series
FIA F4
Ellis–3rd attempt at Brazil worked my way up to P5, but then spun on my own fell back to 10th and then racing a guy side-by-side. He went on the grass and came up and took me out fell back was able to finish 10th.
Fourth attempt started fifth worked my way up to second was pressuring the leader which caused him to spin and turn one. I couldn’t avoid it and literally drove over the top of him. Add damage didn’t pit was only fifth worked my way up to finish P3 94 points. My second attempt was 95 oh well.
First attempt at Watkins Glen boot started 12th stage safe until we got to the bus stop. We were still double wide filing through the bus stop the guy behind me this sailed in there and ran over the top of me had to tow went back out from 20th and worked my way back to finish P 16.
Tuesday night, May 3 and fourth attempt and unbelievably wrecked out in both races lap one. Third attempt I went down to turn one they were sitting sideways, blocking the track. Fourth attempt I made it clear to the bus stop before I got ran over from behind.
Kyle P3 at the glen in FIA F4 fixed. Ran a solid race and just hit my marks. Car was glued to the track and it was fast, but not fast enough.
Kyle P18 ran a good race and got into a 2 lap battle with P5 and on the last lap he took me out entering the bus stop and ended my race. Protest Was FIled.

The next chapter of my iRacing journey has been archieved, After 2 attempts have failed, finally we made it happen. I have to give a big thank you to my Team and everyone who have supported me on my way here. Now time to relax.@gridandgo@iRacingpic.twitter.com/9RV3GXMZRW
It's been real, it's been fun, but it hasn't been real fun. The race tonight at Homestead will be my final race in the "Pro-Series" of iRacing. Justin- P1 Strategy played to my favor again. We had a caution 25 to go. I Just put enough gas in her to finish the scheduled distance which gained me 5 spots to put me on the front row. I recommend an ignition switch. It helped me save a ton of fuel for the G/W/C’s. Luckily I held P1. I never have been so close with fuel. I started sputtering at the tri oval taking the checkered. I gotta say one thing better than the win was I had a listener in the race that introduced himself to me. He said he was a weekly listener shout out to Tom Gulker we went 1 -2.
Wednesday Open – Talladega
Mike- P disqualified out with one to go. Let some laps during the race but was involved in many different incidents that were not my doing and basically ran out of incident points. The TikTok stream blew up. I had somewhere between 300 to 500 watchers at any given time 24,000 views, six gifts, 185 followers and 16,000 likes .
Brad W – P31 after starting p10. One of the worst drafting races I can remember being in. Most of the guys raced like monkeys using a hammer for the first time.
TonyP19 got stuck being pushed from a damaged car. My split on had 2 cautionstand they were in the first half Of the race
Bobby – P3
Greg – P13 – No Caution with a couple to go split the field
Chris W – P9. Race was sloppy. I was in 4 wrecks and had 16x. On white flag lap of GWC…. Call me Moses… There were several wrecks and the seas parted. Went from 25th to 9th on the last lap! P9!
Thursday Open – Talladega
Mike- P20- started in the back this time we had a green flag run and a green flag stop with caution shortly after somehow someway I cycled up the fifth after that and stayed upfront for the part of it but eventually got wrecked out really bad four minutes damage limped it home.

Mike – P19. No cautions on the final stop. I was 12 and I came out 20th. I don’t even know what happened.
Kyle -P P6 Started P4 Used some strategy near the first half of the race to stay out on old tires and got lucky with several back to back cautions to eat away laps as I held the lead. Kept the car clean all race long and brought home a respectable P6 with 0X
Tony -P34 second time i have been in a wreck caused by a Chase Elliott driver
Brad – P10 Started p16. Drove up to the front early but missed the better fuel strategy on doing it on one stop. Car was just not good enough at the end of the run to drive closer to the front.
Sunday Open – Michigan
Tony P real life…. Best spot to put this hear. Got to hang out with form Teammate and fellow Aftermath co-host Tony Groves and his lovely wife Lisa. While they didnt bring me any fuzzy peaches but we did bring the rain.
Tom – P16
Kyle P P 4 Started P9.Race went caution free for 80 laps. Got to the top 5 and just held it for 48 laps. Pitted under green and came out 13th and just started working my way to the front until lap 80 and the first caution comes out. Pit and come out 5th. We would follow with 3 more cautions before having a 4 lap run to the end. On the final restart going into turn 3 2 cars to my outside hit and go spinning just inches off my front bumper and the race stays green. I help off the cars behind me for a P4 finish with 0X.
Sunday Fixed – Michigan
Mike- P4! I got involved in a big wreck on the second caution with over four minutes damage ran at the tail of the lead lap most of the race gradually getting it fixed as we approach the end and they keep working and I kept moving forward. I was up to PS six for the second green white checker restart. . another quick caution, final green white checker the leader loses it down in the corner. We all wreck. I knocked the right front off. I am able to finish P4, but have a meatball flag, but kept my position. P4!!!
Justin –P wrecked out
Wednesday Open – Daytona
Mike- P Ray on top 10 most the day as high as second right after green flag stops but made some bad moves and got shuffled pretty much at the end and wrecked out on the final lap basically destroyed and finish the race finish 20 something
Justin – P5, just tried to stay out of trouble, saved my X’s for the end of the race to survive.
John – P 4. 13 cautions for 38 laps – that tells you just about everything you need to know. The highlight for me was that I got to run with team mate Bobby Jonas. Love racing with him. We worked together really well and our plans were working. Unfortunately, Bobby got disconnected with about 15 to go. We had three G/W/C runs. There was a crash on the backstretch on the last lap which I avoided and was able to go from 8th to 4th. Happy with that finish, but hope Friday is cleaner.
Brad W – P29. Started p15 too much stupidity to even discuss.
TonyP25 there i was just chilling saving fuel when car in front got wrecked and tagged me ending my night
Bobby – P wrecked out and Internet issues
Chris W – P 14. I need to be more aggressive. Played it safe in the back. Ended up in front pack with laps counting down. Did not see the pack behind us catch and pass on the outside. Late caution let me top off but could not pass. Ended up p14 with 0x
Thursday Open – Daytona
Mike- P6- was the pusher on the bottom lane late in the race and the outside Lane wrecked us big time. I restarted back in 22 with like three to go and was able to get up to P6 as a final effort after a green flag run and we went 60 laps without a caution.
Tony – P20 guess i love the punishment. got Super excited for getting out of work early to see how i can race against a bunch of Europeans. Welp like usual in a 1.8k split they cant drive. Survived for awhile till wreck check up and i got Logano’d in the ass and spun me out coming out of T4. Saved it np caution. Ended up getting lapped and while hanging out in the lead pack. Leaders wreck and caught a x so lost my lucky dog. Than actually finished green from 10 laps to go.

On the next week at Virginia North. Qualified fifth got to fourth and spun on my own under pressure and had to get a quick repair drove back up to 17th

John K – P10. Was in 3rd on last lap coming into tri-oval. Guys behind decided to do the usual – pile drive into non-existent holes and wreck us all. Slid backwards over the S/F line with a banged up car.
Tyler – P Tuesday night wrecked out and lab two from some guy hitting the apron and wiping everybody out enough. Meatball for dinner.
Mike. P3– got involved in one of the wrecks where knocked in the right front never pitted to repair it though and stayed out for track position. It wasn’t fast but with the way the last few laps played out I was able to work myself up to finish P3 super proud of that was a damage car.

John. P22. Was in P2 on lap 8. P5 decided to ram the heck out of P3 and sent him head on into my right rear. I went upside down and had 38 minutes of required repairs. I quit the race because race would have been pretty much over by the time the car got fixed.
IMSA
Brad – P4 (GTD LeMans) Started p5 and was able to stay with leaders until a cut course penalty. Was able to jump two cars during the pit stop. Had a good battle for p3 over the last three laps but did not press the point as I really needed a good finish.
Two starts at VIR and have not finished either one. There is a reason that this is a GTD only event in real life.

Tony -P7 with 0x and 14 cautions. A regular 4 lettered first name guy knocked me out of a top 5 on the white flag. just surprised he didn’t wreck me
Brad – P30 Started p6 and ran in the top 10 for all of the race. A restart with 25 to go running 5th and get destroyed. Forced three wide on restart and wrecked trying to back out. Sit on track for almost 15 seconds to let all the cars go by only to get hit by someone who never lifted.
Chris W – P 18. Was 11th with 10 to go and got loose and spun. Went back to P22 for GWC’s and got up to 18th. We had 19 cautions… it was not pretty.
Sunday Open – Richmond
Greg –P13 –
Tom – P16
Joe – p4 – I would’ve won if it stayed green cuz I was running 5th running the leaders down quick. I was over a 1/2 faster with 20 to go. But nooo. lol 3 caution later. lol
Wednesday Open – Michigan
Mike- P loaded wrong set. Went to the back. Caught caution to fix that but got destroyed in the next big one. Soldiered on to get destroyed again. Dnf
Justin – P2, long story short, came down to the last corner. I got to the leader’s right rear side and drafted him until we were about even and then he threw me a door and we got stuck together from the exit of turn 4 to the start finish line. Lost by .005 seconds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One day I will figure this shit out.
Brad W – P28 Started p12 and drove to the top 8. Was making progress longer in the run to get door slammed by a guy for no reason. Decided to get the damage fixed on the second yellow flag and restarted mid pack. Started to drive back up only to get caught up in a wreck from up front. The NiS wreck fest continues. Three race weeks in a row of horrible finishes and none my fault.
TonyP30. Oh home sweet home. had a fast car on the fast track but apparently it was too fast for a couple of guys in front of me when a Chase Elliott car got wrecked and had no where to go. Meatballed
Kyle P – P21 started P7 and just was lazy on restarts. Had 12 cautions and had to play wreck avoidance the whole race until 3 to go and I got collected up in a wreck and the car was junk and limped home P21.
Greg – P17 was p4 on the 3rd gwc and was taken out by a guy that was in the gwc 2 wreck and given his spot back
Chris W – P 19. Ended a Michigan race with 24X. What a sloppy night. Got into a slow car and wrecked half the field. Then got caught in another wreck. Blinker made me wreck Mike and myself. I hate it. This is my favorite track and I was looking to have a good run. On the next week. .
Thursday Open – Michigan
Mike- P11 got in a couple different incidents but no damage was able to keep it together and finish P 11. I’ll take a finish.
Tony – P8 decided to roll out the throwback Kellogg Birb car. Was faster than Wednesday night. Again with the dumbasses that wanna take it 3-4 wide out of turn 2 and not hold a line. Got some wheel damage but the birb was still fast
Official Series
FIA F4
Ellis -that’s Sonoma took Tuesday off to finish installing the brakes. First race out on the new pedal set was only six people I was leading the race spun out once and twice and finished third with only 60 points. That was a great opportunity missed.
Car number 14 out of 24 qualified third and finished second. 86 points is enough for me to retain my lead and park it for the week
IMSA
Brad – P5 (GTD Barcelona) Started p8 and was able to drive up to p5. That was about as much speed as I had. This is not one of my better tracks. Was 2nd in points at the end of the week, worried that with the drop weeks I’m going to slip behind in the points.

NASCAR iRacing Series
Friday Open – Watkins Glen
Mike – P P8- it was boring, but it was fun at the end when I got some love from Haley Deegan and her husband
Greg – P4
Kyle- p4
Tony -P13 2nd from bottom
Wednesday Open – Bristol
Mike- P13– ran anywhere from 2nd to 10th most of the night was running when I got too many incidents and had a drive-through penalty. I fell down two laps from there and never recovered.
David – P
Justin – P1! I really just tried to survive until the end. I wanted to park it half way through the race just cause I was getting beat up so bad but I stuck with it. I channeled my inner David Hall and pulled some strategy out of my ass. We got a caution around lap 20 and I was p6 when the field went into the pits. The whole field took 4 tires besides me and another guy. Which lined me up on the front row P2 on the start. We had a green flag run until about 2 to go. I was on that leader’s ass the whole time if he messed up I was going to get him which he did. We were coming up on a lap car. The lap car stayed high which so did the leader and I just chose whatever lane was open and as soon as I cleared the leader another caution fell. Which led to a Green White Checker. Soon as we hit the Geico Restart Zone I mashed it and kept the lead until the checker came out. This might be my biggest WIN yet! This is a team Tifso Win all the way. If you guys didn’t help me with my computer issues the last couple of weeks I would still be on the sidelines. Thanks Team!
Brad W – P29. Running 3rd and was collected by a wreck of back markers that had the track blocked.
Chris W – P 20. 19 laps down and 18 of them were from stupid pit road mistakes. Works been nuts, I’m chasing a toddler, and have not slept well and it shows. Hopefully I’ll get some rest and be better at Kansas. Great win Justin!
Thursday Open – Bristol

Fourth attempt qualified P2 was running P2 when I got ran over after getting loose. A little bit a lap car was right on my ass and ran over me finished P 11. Haley Deegan and Chase Cabre were back in the chat. Got a hat and mustache from Haley. I asked her about what she’s racing and why she wasn’t racing with me. She said she’d be back in f four on Monday but she’ll be racing the F3 car at cota in October.
Monday first race at Sebring car number four in second split qualified third really made no mistakes finished second. Guy won was about a second a lot faster than me. I got 89 championship points that’s enough for this week but I’ll run the other three races to see if I can beat it.
Second race I qualified for I would make some aggressive moves and got to the lead, then spun myself out of the lead back to sixth then drove back up to second myself out and wrecked out DNF
Third race fairly high split qualified seventh got to fourth then Rector tangled with a guy on the final turn and we all wrecked and had to tow P 15

Mike – P DNF had a good race going until I didn’t was near the front riding on the bottom and the bottom lane kind of disintegrated the middle lane neck coated. The bottom guy was right in front of me and I got destroyed. DNF.
Bobby- P2
Tony -P11
John -Pwrecked out
Brad – P18. Started p9 ran up front for first half of the race. Was shuffled to the rear after green flag stops. Drove back to the front and made a poor attempt to help teammate Justin Pearson win but failed. Ended up getting caught up in the big one and crawled across the line in 18th.
Sunday Open – Daytona
Mike- PDNF out for a Sunday drive with Tom just riding in the top 10 at one point the outside lane started collapsing, and the guy was desperate to get down. There wasn’t a hole but he forced his way into me and I lost all my spots I was able to quickly drive back up through there, and was pushing the leader on the bottom with 13 to go in an epic battle and I like a fool blew my engine oil too hot I was ashamed of myself and felt really bad caused a big wreck. Mike- P 15. Got involved in several incidents. I had to drive-through right at the end for a penalty multiple minutes. Damage was a pretty rough week.
Chris – p 9. Mike and I were in the race and we got in a few fender benders. After a late pass though penalty there was a crash right away, missed and wrecked at the end…. Sort of to finish 9th. New personal record iR 3324.
Wednesday Open – Darlington
Mike- P18– ran basically around 10 to 15th most of the race got some damage never fixed it. I would feed after about 2025 laps. We had green white checkers at the end. I got myself up to seventh but got to drive through penalty on the final lap of the final green, white, checker so it put me back to 18.
Brad W – P2 after starting p9. Ran in top 5 most of the race. Was able to take the lead very late in the race only to have the yellow come out and force a GWC. Got a great start but over drove on the last lap and lost the win by .006 seconds. I wanted to throw up. Gave away a win.
Chris W – P19. This one makes me want to cry. Was P12 with 8 to go and was quickly catching the slower cars ahead. I’m good at saving tires. Passing 11th he got loose on exit of 4 and took us both out. Only race of the week. One of my favorite places to race. P19.
Thursday Open – Darlington
Mike- P DNF top split. Started 23rd, I started making my way forward up to 18th around lap 18, go to pass the guy on the inside of one and two, I touch him just a hair that got him loose. Then he comes down to my lane and turns me nose into the wall. There’s no steering

P3! 76 points. Probably not enough.
P 16. Was a high split where I could’ve easily gotten enough points to win it by running if the seventh got as high as six after starting 11th but got raced at a guy and got greedy and spun myself off. Event had spun off three times putting me to the back.

Hall – P7 Single Split at COTA, top 7 iRating 7.9, 5.7, 3.4, 2.5, 2.0, 3.1, 1.6
Brad – P1 (GTD – VIR) Winner Winner! The race started on a wet track but with no rain. Track continued to dry but I made the gamble on staying on wets while some others put on slicks. The gap I had after stops was too much for them to overcome. I know that I have complained about the rain but these seem to be some of my best results. Sitting p4 in championship, hoping to get a decent finish to get back into top 3. Don’t think I can catch the guy in p1.

Listener Follow Up From Simsonn Shifter Discussion
Chad McNeese: Related to the Simsonn & Logitech H-pattern shifters: The current Logitech wheel & pedal sets do not include the H-pattern shifter. It is available as a separate purchase add-on, that still plugs into the wheel base as they have done since the original G25. That shifter is a pure H-pattern shifter with no additional buttons. The version of shifters that actually included buttons were on the G25 & G27 wheels only. All newer models were stripped to be H-pattern only. The Simsonn and nearly all other budget shifters from Amazon, ebay, AliExpress and such are separate USB connections. Many do market with Logitech G compatibility, but to my knowledge, none of them connect to the shifter port on the G wheels. They all use a basic USB to the PC for universal use. I suspect the Logitech tagging in the titles is purely to be found via search when people are looking for shifters, since the Logitech are widely available & still in use. It’s modern SEO marketing. The basic difference on these over the Logitech is slightly more sturdy construction and a snappier feel, as part of the construction differences. From experience, the Logitech is very toy-like and these other shifters have a more metallic construction and feel that is closer to the higher end shifters. Both styles offer modding options but are marginally different depending on a person’s preference.

Mike – P19 started 14th worked my way up to the top five ran as high as second got wrecked real bad at some point by some bonehead known wrecker guy four minutes damage 30 seconds required. Then towards the end of the race, the same guy tried to get by me again. He hit me twice going down the back door, slamming into three I was up into the wall that came off the wall. I came down into him and wrecked us both. Finish P1
Tony -P19 first race a day after having a knee scope on the left knee. Honestly can’t remember but think i was caught in stuff
Sunday Open – Darlington
Mike- P18– I had a good race going running in top 10 top five. At some point in the last part of the race, I kind of spun by myself on a restart, didn’t wreck, but lost all my track position and got involved in another incident and then could never catch a caution to get tires and basically just rode it out
Tony P-wrecked started like 3rd or 4th. Was in p3 trying to get passed 2nd but the asshat kept blocking me no matter I tried running. Till i was on the inside making a pass out of 4 and he just turns slight left on me and i get a fun trip to the infield care center while he ended up winning the race
Wednesday Open – Atlanta
Mike- P4! Got involved in an incident not too much damage got it fixed, but had to come up from the back again and ended up doing green flag stops slid through my box after that shook out. We were in the lead pack. Just buying our time for the final run to the checker, I just wasn’t far enough forward track position to really make a run for the win but was happy to get it up to finish in the top five P4 I’ll take it.
Brad W – P12 after spending most of the race in the top 10. Got shuffled back after green flag stops but drove back to the front. With a handful of laps to go was pushing toward the front only to get turned with a 3 wide situation that went bad.
TonyP3 oh boy a 1.6k split with a lot of trash in it. Rolled Of the start on a pole and just found my happy place avoiding shenanigans and tomfoolery. Had a gwc restarted 4th. Had a driver behind me shoot me a message and said he’ll push the hell outta me. Welp we almost got it done. we were flying til he got side drafted on the back and we lost our momentum to where i would’ve passed for the win
Kyle P – P6 Started P9 kept it clean and on the bottom avoiding the wrecks. Finally got involved in a wreck with less than 50 to go. Caught a few cautions to fix the damage. After that it was a race to the front. Took advantage of the restarts and jumped several positions. Last lap I was in a drag race down the back stretch and beat P7 by less then .010 of a second.
Chris W – P9. PC shut off when I clicked enter the car. Started from pits, stayed on lead lap, missed all the wrecks to bring it home P9. New iR personal record 3368
Thursday Open – Atlanta
Mike- P15– Ran top five basically most of the race second and third for a long periods of time was fifth on the late restarts and just had a real hard time getting restarted these guys were beating me every time, but got wrecked out on a green white checker, the white top lane spun the leader and he came down into the bottom lane and took me out and I finished 15
Tony – P3 another headache of a race. Was There at the end had a great run on the outside on the white when car went outside so ended up giving him a nice shot in the ass in 3&4 for his win

Ellis– ran my fifth attempt at the championship after I lost it and finished P11 raced against Michael McDowell. I actually ran over him when he was blocking me. I didn’t mean to, but that ruined my race and his.

Mike – P14- had a good race going ran top 10 most of the Reyes got to the lead with about 40 to go and led some laps. Was running about 40 on the white flag when some guy got into me and destroyed my race and I finished P14.
Tony -P6
John -PP22. Got wrecked on about lap 30. 16 minutes required
Brad – Pwrecked again. Started p2 and was up front most of the race until the squirrels started getting nutty. Finished p25 too many laps down to count.
Sunday Open – Atlanta
Mike- P16 the crazy race where I was leading and got hit down to the inside and lost the pack. Then green flag stops got interrupted by a caution put me two laps down. I took a wave around got a lucky dog and took the lucky dog a bit too soon and got a black flag six second stop and go got another Lucky dog later hit the wall while I was checking the TikTok chat and then finally drove up through the field after getting back to the lead lap to second with the first green checker. Here I was leading the outside on the restart the leader came up in front of me to block. I hit him, he wrecked, and we wrecked the entire field. People in the chat were blaming me for saying I should’ve lifted. From the replay I saw it looks like he got a bit loose right after he came up about halfway into the Lane and when I did hit him, it turned him. Definitely wasn’t intentional. I don’t feel like I should’ve lifted being the end of the race. then one more green white check. Where I was on the outside there was a massive scramble on the bottom during the white and they wrecked my teammate just actually came up into me to avoid and we wrecked. P16.

Mike- P8- had a great race going was leading laps at a lap 103. I got turned from behind while leading the race. Three minutes of damage. I got involved in another wreck after that I never pitted to check for damage but drove it back up through there because I was on the back to finish eight.
Wednesday Open – Watkins Glen
Mike- P6- choked in qualifying and started P 25 was able to keep out of trouble and worked my way forward eventually took the lead and lead the race for about five laps before I pitted as the leader I came out PS six and was able to finish P6 great race
Tyler – PP6 with a 1x. Broke my rule and qualified for once. Started 7th and stayed around 6th the entire race. Pleased with this run and a solid A open the night before. Shout out to my youngest son Grayson for being my spotter and crew chief but fell asleep before the finish. Thanks for the help buddy!
Brad W – P23. Top split started p26 and never made it through the esses on lap one. Two guys go off and one does not hold the breaks and backs into me just as I almost have him cleared. I’m stopped and he is still not holding the brakes and hits me again. Drove back as best I could with wheel damage.
Chris W – P 6. Stayed on the track and missed accidents. One year ago I could not finish’, now 2x P6. I did mess up teammate Bobby by getting in the way. Sorry about that Bobby.

Official Series
FIA F4
Ellis– Willow Springs first race of the week top split finished P5. They moved me from division seven to division four.
Started P5 got to P2 by lap two but then sp off on my own and fell to dead last then worked my way back up to finish p nine. I had another offer where I re-entered the track and somebody ran over me. I obviously made a horrible mistake and apologized profusely to the other driver.
Switched over to the fix series at Rudd Coggin. Ended up, wrecking myself out on that one.
A Open
Brad W – Pwrecked. Turn 1 Lap 1, someone went three wide. I was the unlucky one on the outside. Drove back to p18.
B Open
John. P9 at Atlanta. Don’t remember details.
P9. Don’t remember details, but I didn’t get wrecked, so that’s good.P1!!!!. Running 4th with two to go. Laid back a little because I figured the leaders would wreck. Plus they were two wide so I knew I could not pass. Sure enough, they wrecked in turn 2. I led the GWC to a win.P6 at the Glen. I kept the car on the track and no spins. Do that and you can get a good finish.
C Open
John K – P13. Got wrecked as usual
IMSA
Brad – P4 (GTD-Indy) Started p6 and was average in speed. This place is really hard to let faster classes pass without losing time. Had way too many close calls with GTPs/LMP2s forcing passes in the most inopportune times.
ARCA
John. P8. Save the tires. Avoid the wrecks. Like this car. I’ll take a top 10 any day.
Dirt Mini StockJohn. P5. If you have not tried this you should. These cars are a blast. Great dirt racing
