NASCAR iRacing Series

Friday Open – NiS – Kansas

  • David – P16 (A Open) got loose early, no cautions to get it back

Sunday Open- NiS – Kansas

  • Tony – P2 had a decent run. About ½ way ended up self spinning while in middle 3 wide after a few laps on a restart saved it. Used all 3 gwc. First 2 the outside line kept spinning their tires and wrecking and each time i gained tons of spots. Restarted 3rd on final gwc and just couldnt catch the leader. Finally a good run
  • John – P30. First NIS race in over two months. I had quit due to pathetic racecraft and cautions. Should have stayed away. On a lap 16 restart a guy spun his tires and turned into me throwing me into the wall. Too much damage – I was done.

Sunday Fixed- NiS – Kansas

  • Mike- P5- I had a pretty good race, but then I got spun more than once a couple times down under the grass. One minute damage was able to do a nice recovery up to P5 never really had anything for the leaders, but we’ll take a nice top five
  • Justin – P wrecked out

Thursday Open- NiS – ROVAL

  • Mike- P12-start at 18th work my way up to 14th and then spun off on my own on the tight hairband corner fell back to 24th worked my way back up to 16th spot again a couple other times without really wrecking lost track position, but gained it back and finished P12 two laps down.

Official Series

Gen 4

  • Ellis – P at Atlanta surprisingly split of 24 each on Monday night.

B Open

  • John –  P17. This was an enjoyable race. NO CAUTIONS!!! I was fast but made a mistake on Lap 25; I smacked the wall coming out of turn two and damaged my right front. Had to wait until my green flag pit stop to repair it. That put me a lap down. Finish was not great, but it was nice not to get wrecked out by some fools like we have in NIS.

Ring Meister

  • Mike – P started fifth in the Ferrari GT three and ended up wrecking not long after DNF
    • Started P3 and finish P3 pretty clean race had nothing for the leaders. We’ll take it podium.
    • Start a third by turn to the guy wants to dive in and run side-by-side which is fine. I ran side-by-side with him for a couple corners. Finally got ahead and then he dumped me DNF.
    • So it’s Sunday night I want to practice the car for next week the Skip barber. So I’m in the UI. I find the schedule I see the car for next week and I hit practice with AI so I run the race and there’s 28 GT three cars and there’s three Skip Barber cars.  I don’t know if this is what it’s supposed to do.
    • So to run the Ferrari one more time Sunday night, I missed the start. I start from Pitt Road and my turn three I’m going by a car that’s in the grass. He’s suddenly jolts onto the track in front of me and IT bone him unsafe, rejoined
    • Qualified first thing in the shit barber formula 2000 ended up starting PE five and finishing P3 had a great battle with fourth for third spot and we played a game of chicken at the end but I win like usual to take the podium and a great first race of the week to finish in P3.
    • Start a second wrecked out fairly soon, kinda on my own because I actually had a spammer in the chat spamming garbage on my stream and it was distracting so I wreck
    • Start a third I got to lead going over the bathtub. I left slightly. He runs over me from behind ratio wrecked from behind from the lead.
    • Then wrecked out again, mistake on my own, went off track and destroyed the car
    • Then started fourth and finished P7 after going off the track once but able to recover

IMSA

  • Hall – P 2 and 1, Road ATL I have a decent pace here.
  • Brad W – P9 and P10. Both races at Fuji started on a dry track that required drys to be put on at the stop. I had decent pace but as always with wet races the participation was low all week. Both races were top split and I was happy with both. I only had a spin in one of them after getting punted by a GTP before the chicane. I do enjoy searching for that dry lane once you change tires cause if you miss it….hold on!

League / Hosted Races

Grass Roots Racing

GTP/GT3 League – Suzuka Endurance Race

  • William W –  P3. Final race of the season. Nothing notable really here except for David getting punted. Finished the season 3rd in points. Next season starts in two weeks at LeMans, come join us!
  • David – P7 got dumped by a guy on his out lap with cold tires

Elbows Out Racing League (LMP2 and GT3 Wednesday Nights)

  • William- P7. Full 62 car grid. The racing at the top of this league is very good, but the lower half of LMP2 and the AM can sometimes leave something to be desired in the racecraft area. A lot of good racing, but also a lot of frustration with GT3 parking it on apex and LMP2 unable to complete passes. Got stuck behind a lambo for a bit that prevented me from moving up, on pace might have had a 5th or so, but needed to do better with traffic.

Hosted-

  • Ellis – Car of  tomorrow at Talladega went on the far outside for three wide for the wind they got wrecked out. John Kerley finished eight Kyle wrecked out
    • Supercars at Michigan got wrecked out
