The Truth About Realism, Physics, …
Ta-Tas For The Win
AJ and I started helping with charity races, in our iRacing community, at the beginning of 2025. AJ broadcasts them on his Youtube channel and I will generally race or help with race control. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and I thought it would be a great way to raise funds for the Susan G Komen foundation. So, with the help of AJ and some of our friends, I came up with the Ta-Ta-Dega 200. We ran 75 laps at Talladega in the NASCAR Trucks.
It was so much fun and we had an amazing turn out. I made a goal of $1000, that I thought was over reaching, but we hit that goal! I even agreed that if I hit 30 paid entries, I would dye my hair pink. Which ended up happening and now I have pink hair for the month! Even with some cautions, the racing was awesome! We had 37 out of 45 drivers finish on the lead lap.
Our event had payouts for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. As well as a prize for best paint scheme. I wanted to see a field of pink trucks and thought that would be an incentive- which it was. The sea of pink was so fun! Those who won prize money, ended up donating it back to the cause.
We will be doing this again in October 2026. Our goal will increase to $2000 and we have other plans in mind depending on how many drivers we get.

NASCAR iRacing Series

Sunday Fixed- NiS – Martinsville
- Mike- P dequeued out on lap 178 out of 250 with only 50 second damage. None of the caution or incidents were caused by me. Absolutely none.

Wednesday Open -NiS – Phoenix
- Kyle – P IDK car was strong and hooked up. Not much happened until around 90 laps in and my computer started lagging, causing my pedals not to respond and I was full throttle and steered hard right into turn 1 to avoid taking out another car in front of me. Ruined my race. A NEW PC BUILD IN COMING VERY SOON.
 - David – P wrecked, as i come back for this finale to find that same dumb shits doing to the same stupid shit.

Thursday Open- NiS – Phoenix
- Mike- P11- basically ran top five the first half of the race after that my frames per a second cut in half and gradually got as low as 12 frames per second at the end of the race almost impossible to run like that I did get trapped a lap down under a green flag stops. I fought really hard for that lucky dog and held it for the longest time. Never got that but eventually a caution where I could get a wave around back to the lead lap and just drove it home after that.
 - David – P 3, caution after long runs right as I was in the pits, got to line up 3rd. Had a 5th place car, late caution took 2 tires, dominant car panics cause justin is in front of him with older tires and loops it. Couple of restarts later I focus on having a good enough restart to protect Justin’s lead on a 3 lap run. He was the faster of us.
 - Justin – P1 Thank you Mikey I wouldn’t have won this race without you. I was heading down pit road and I toggled the tires from 4 to 2 tire stop cause you told me too which put me in the lead and that’s all I needed was track postion. Proud of my teammate david for getting a podium.

Official Series
Ring Meister
- Mike – P Pontiac solstice top split started 22nd out of 25 drove it up to finish P9. What a great run.
- Start at 11th got the fourth then got in a tussle and put back the ninth drove back up to sixth. Fighting hard for fifth I overdid it on the final straight away and basically bounced off the guy causing him to spit out gave him many apologies over the radio my bad.
 - Then Sunday night I run one and somehow I’m going backwards instead of forward, but it was people try to pass me in the bad spots. We ended up reckon. DNF
 - Moving to the Kia Optima, I stuffed it in the wall after hitting the curbs on about turn three and kill the engine
 - Made it further about almost a lap before I hit the curb again and killed the engine by hitting the wall
 - Started second finish, P7 got wrecked from behind once spun down into the wall, spent another time by myself, but still rally to finish Seven
 - Started fifth got as high as fourth and then due to several incidents I had I fell back to finish P seventh. It was a wreck fast and I’m happy to survive several different scenarios.
 - Started P2 got wrecked out pretty quickly when somebody tried to pass me and vulnerable area, and I ended up in the wall
 - Started at fifth and didn’t get too far before I made a mistake and killed the car
 - Started second had a good strong start for about half a lap and then spun it out somehow in high considered it on the curb didn’t wreck the car but couldn’t get the car off the curb at all

GT challenge series fixed
- Mike- p10. At Sebring had a pretty good race just a little bit slower than the other others.

IMSA
- Brad W – P12 Mexico City – We should not race here…plain and simple. Horrible track for mixed class sportscar series.
 - William – P4. Lost a little speed from my two league races here, but found most of it by the lap 8 or 9. Slow quali. I was definitely faster than P3, but it’s so hard to pass here. Had nothing for P1, 5k guy. Everyone hates this track, but I’m really starting love it, just wish it wasn’t quite so hard to pass.

ARCA
- John. K – P14. Raced Chicagoland. I really like this car at Chicagoland. About halfway through I hit the wall coming out of turn 4 and damaged the right front. Can’t really pit in these races since there are no yellows to get laps back. That ruined any chance of a good finish.

League / Hosted Races
Roush E-Sports Mustang GT4 @ Road Atlanta
- Brad = P14 and p11. I try to do these events when I can. In race one I screwed up qualifying bad and started p20. I had avoided a few early spins but was collected in a multicar wreck coming out of the hairpin on lap 1. I was able to drive up to p14 by the end of the 15 laps race. Started p14 for second race and was able to drive up to p7 at the highest but did not have the speed to stay there. I was running p8 coming to the checkers and over drove the last chicane and lost the car and finished p11. Extremely angry at myself. The next one for me will be the annual RFK Holiday Showdown in December.

Grass Roots Racing
GTP/GT3 League – Mexico City Sprint Race
- William W – P1!!!!!! I know I said its all about getting better, but man is it nice to get the top spot again. I’ve had a pretty good year results wise overall, but wins have been few and far between. Mexico is a tough track for non-forumla cars. I started 2nd with Will Weaver on the pole. Followed him for about 22 laps as its soooo hard to pass here if you don’t have a lot more pace than the guy you’re racing. Will pit a lap before me as he almost spun coming out of the last turn and just looped it into the pits. I pit the next lap and between that and my stop was able to have a 4s gap on him once everything cycled. Unfortunately Will spun on the next lap trying to deal with a lapped car. From that point it was just cruising home and not making a mistake as I had about a 12 second lead on the next car. Race was a bit rough with it being new and pretty tough. You could tell who had practice and who hadn’t. Not a lot of bad driving but a lot of lapped traffic problems.
 - Brad W – P last. Was wrecked twice in the first lap. Hoping a few drivers settle down or it’s going to be a long season. See comments from IMSA race about my feelings on this track.
 - David – P last, practiced for 1.5 hours to learn track, got loose in the S’s on first lap not even trying to run hard, and at that point was just to mad at self to continue a lap down on the whole field.

Elbows Out Racing League (LMP2 and GT3 Wednesday Nights)
- William- P2!! (Possibly P1 after penalties but that won’t be announced until Saturday) Put it on Pole by mistake. Was able to run up front for a minute but was having to deal with the back of the LMP2 field even after leaving a 6 second gap. This meant I didn’t get to put much of a gap at all on P2, who honestly was faster. At about lap 7 he was following me through the second esses and got a much better run than I did and tapped my rear, sent me into the wall and gave me minor wheel damage. Wheel was about 20 off center and was losing about .2 a lap. Able to tough it out until pit stops staying about 4 seconds behind 1st and 2nd. Used quick repair and came out in 4th. 2nd had a problem and then passed the new P2 on track. Great result. Might pick up the win if they penalize the leader for the contact, but if not still a great result. I think I’m really starting to like this track, too bad everyone else absolutely despises it.
