Friday Open – NiS – Darlington
- David – P wrecked, a guys block went bad for both of us
- Brad- P24 Wrecked again. Same story, different week. The absurdity on NiS right now is on a crazy level.
Sunday Open- NiS – Darlington
- David – P Wrecked out on lap 4
- Tony – P5
- Joe – p I got wrecked with to much damage on lap 26
Sunday Fixed- NiS – Darlington
- Mike- P9- there were seven cautions in the first 50 laps. I was involved in six of them and I had 16 x 50 laps by halfway I was at 24X and had to run the last half of the race with no incidence, but somehow pulled it off and ended up with a P9 attrition was major only 19 cars finished at a 37
Wednesday Open -NiS – Gateway
- Mike- P fixed – ended up finishing 21st. I had 24 incident points. I got 12 before last 19 in Rex that were not by doing. Total shit show 12 different cautions. I had admitted to look for damage and that was a mistake and that put me in the back and I lost my track position. Never really could regain it.
- Mike- open- p12- pretty much kept it clean, but got messed up in a couple incidents in the end and lost some track position. Was able to get it back most of it and finish P 12 happy with that.
- Justin – P wrecked out on the first green white checker running third spin the tires on a restart.
- Chris – P wrecked out too much damage we’re done
- David – P went the last 20 or 30 laps trying to serve a black flag, but couldn’t. Served it at the end. This race was once again a shit show. First this one guy caused literally the first 5 cautions and took out almost every team mate in the split. Making unsafe moves and unable to hold a line. Later in the race a guy tries to take it 3 wide and fails to stay in the 3rd inside lane, taking me out. Apologizes, ok….but then 2 restarts later does the same kind of shit. I’m fucking sick of this and if iRacing isn’t going to do something about people like this then they really don’t give a shit about the quality of official racing. As long as no one goes about policing themselves, or using bad language, iRacing is happy.
- Brad- P22 Not even sure where to begin with this one. Wrecked twice by the same driver that caused four yellows. Overall 19 cautions and a 120 lap race that took over two hours to finish. Ended up 3 laps down driving a half fixed car trying to avoid getting an incident drive through.
Official Series
Formula Vee
- Mike– P7 started a dead last 12 out of 12 did the race to get SR ended with zero incidents and finished P7 due to attrition.
- P7 started dead last 12 out of 12 zero incidents finish P7 just like the previous race
- Start a dead last 12th no incidents finished P2. The leaders piled up coming into the checker and I took advantage from six place up to second.
- Start a 10th out of 12 actually raced with everybody and got up to P5 still no incidents
- Start a 10th out of 12 and somehow finish P3 still no incident
Mazda cup
- Ellis– P qualified 12 finish eighth finish with zero incident
- Start at 12 finish ninth again no incident points
- Started dead last 12 finished 12 went wide ones had a one incident into the race at 1.97SR almost there
- Started dead last 12th made it up to fifth but still got a one X avoiding a wreck in front of me. Ended up gaining .5 SR and made it to 2.47 finally. Mission accomplished.
Gen 4
- Ellis – P top split Kansas car 23 out of 25. Two cautions I missed it car was clean. I finished P 11 pretty fun track to run the top. The set is just way too tight though to be any fun. We gotta have a looser set in this car.
Ring Meister
- Mike – qualified second was chasing the leader. He hit the brakes extremely in my opinion I went to avoid him and had to hit the wall DNF.
- Next race started second fought the leader real hard and finally got by under heavy pressure and went on to win it winner winner chicken dinner career win number 116 super proud to win in the GT three at Ferrari at the ring nords life Green-hell.
- started P2 finish P2 leader was fast. He drove away from me easily. He was five seconds a lap faster than me. I’ve run inconsistent 637 and he’s running 632 with the best of 630.
- Started third finished third got as high as second actually spun at my myself at one point was still able to finish third.
IMSA
- Brad W – P8 (Indy-GT3) Had a rather uneventful race until after pitstops. I had decent pace but not as quick as the top 4. I was running p5 after the stop and running down p4 going into T1. Had a lap car that really should have backed out before the corner but did not. He went in too deep and had to check up. I went to his right only to have p6 take us three wide which crowded me into the lapper and I spun. P6’s excuse was I did not know we were three wide. How he did not see what was going on ahead of him is beyond me. After the spin I was p9 but was able to get one spot over the final laps. Really disappointing result.
League / Hosted Races
Grass Roots Racing
GTP/GT3 League – Indy Sprint Race
- Brad W – P5 I did not have the pace of the top 4 so I tried to play the undercut on pitstops but blew the pitroad entry and lost too much time. I’m really enjoying this league and still feel that it has really helped my pace in officials.
Hosted-
- Ellis – ran an AI race Nashville super Speedway in the Del Laura IR 18 Indy car. Put the adaptive AI on the highest setting started mid got to the lead by lap six. I’m calling BS on the AI. It’s not strong enough at least thus car at this track.
- Pick up car finished P7 race an old friend from the past Roderick Norman, and saw a professional Coke driver Dylan alt finish P9
- Official SK modified fixed at Southern national.
