Listener Cody Richardson “The biggest take away is that it’s not perfect, but a smaller budget team just used driver-in-the-loop Sim work just like the F1 teams do. Had similar feedback to setup changes between Sim and real life. And they are going to try working on real setups within iracing to save time at the track. So they are using iRacing like F1 teams use thier own software. I think thats pretty damn cool, and once again proves that sim skill can translate to real life.”

Brad W – P8 (Richmond) Trying to get back in the cup car and ready for NiS. Started p6 and ran in top 10 for the first 50 laps. Had a second caution and we all pitted from that point on it was the usual Richmond caution fest. I did stay clean the whole night and ended with 0x. Trying to stay positive as we head into the 2026 season.

Ring Meister

Mike – P Cadillac CTSV started in the Paul position. Started to pull away from the field, going up the hill. I blew it and hit the wall then it wouldn’t turn after that and eventually I wrecked out.
- Then started on pole position and drove away from the field of 26 cars to win it by over 12 seconds winner winner chicken dinner third win of the week
- Started P5 and top split made several mistakes but finished P6 with card number 25
- Started a second took the lead right away, but then wrecked in the carousel by myself and blew it
- Started second took the lead kept it with a six second gap up through the white flag and then I touched the curve cause I’m pushing hard to keep the gap and it goes into the wall head first
- Then Monday night, switching over cars to the Dara IL 15 Indy next. First race got wrecked out behind a guy who lost his rear wing. I told him twice to we were coming by, and he still wrecked us.
- Then started P2 but fell to running P5 and then I went off track and ended up finishing P8 when I was trying too hard at the end and somehow I put myself into Pitt Road entrance instead of finishing the race
- That started third they got ran over from behind by fourth place going into turn one of lap one. He drove it in and died to dive on me from about four car links back lock. The wheels wiped us out like we were bowling pins.
- Then starting fifth, I overdrive it a little bit and ended up on the curb. It high centered and spun out.
- Then started P2 and finished P3. The leader drove away from me and I had nothing for him, but it’s nice to get a decent finish finally
- Next two races wrecked out.
- Started Paul position. It was looking good, but the guy in second was all over me. He eventually got me and drove away. I spun once by myself was was able to hold onto the P2. Best finish of the week.
- Started third running third pushing hard to try to keep up with the first two and I basically kill the car, locking the brakes and a heavy breaking zone

IMSA

Brad W – P7 GT3 (Watkins)-Started around 17th much deeper than I wanted. As I have said for years, I’m just not fast here. However was able to avoid most of the mayhem except for a spin coming out of the boot on the start. I think that there is always a wreck on lap one in this area almost every race. I had decent pace and was able to get a good pitstop in and gain ground on the ones that were chasing me. Keeping it clean will normally get a good result.

League / Hosted Races

Chase for $3,000.

Chris W – P7 Started P20, stayed clean and aggressive all night. Late caution set up a GWC and we lined up P10. Leaders wrecked on the restart and we drove through it to P5, but got side drafted back to 7th by a car that went below the yellow line (later DQ’d). Finished P7 and we’re headed to Saturday’s LCQ. Still in the hunt.

Major Series – Intimidator

David – P27
Brad – P20 after starting p10. We chose to run in the back for the first part of the race and that was ok but we lost the draft early and had a yellow not come out we would have been lapped. From that point we decided to stay together and try to make some progress toward the front. David and Donnie would get caught up in accidents that would leave me alone up front. All was good until my internet decided to stop. Lost 6 laps getting back in and from that point mu goal was to try and help teammates. Not what I was looking for but it happens.
Donnie – P5 with a very wounded car.
